hey dude??? no tints on a black modified lancer??? dose'nt go well da. get full black tints.

Yeah i know , adding a fully black tint - against the rule will make the car a killer
But for now no tints - reason , the car must be viewed from outside too. - after all i developed a show car.
Earlier tint in car were removed after the paint job. it was a killer !!
Today the car is gonna for a suspension change.. i'll be changing myself with my mechanic's help. And after that it need a wheel alignment for sure.
All four damper change - old coil spring retained.
cost of each strud /dampers are 2600/- gabriel make for lancer. Bought at dhanam , coimbatore. apart from this store , everywhere else its costly . like 200 more per damper

The car is back after the suspension change , there is quite a great ride heigh increase.
Earlier at rear , 2 fingers were easily passable between rear tyre and fender. 3rd one a bit difficult.
But now all the 5 fingers can go up easily and handling is superb now.
seat cover fixed.
Coolants changed.
yet to change engine oil
Coolant , wurth - green one , 2 lit its mrp must be around 180 or 200 for a litre.
i got at dp.

Fixed up clarion 785 head units. worked well for 2 days . some problems later on.
Now again without audio.
hope a kenwood 7013 or 7009 will take that place.
and btw i plan to sell the car too. !!

Just have put up for sale , not in hurry kinda, will sell only if i get that price . till then its a lancer.
next - not yet decided . selling this may take even some 2 to 3 months!

I love everything about the car except that the spoiler is a bit too big. And No offence, but this is my personal view.
Of course its the type that were in use on WRC Evos. But then again the WRCs had wider tracks, bigger wheels with lower profile rubber with flared wheel arches. Also the spoiler was slightly different.
Another thing is the Lancer is one of my favorite cars, Perfect dynamics. But I was really disappointed with with the lethargic powertrains they had to offer in India.

Yeah jalex , opinion varies , most youngster prefer this type and also a big spoiler is some way head turner as we kept the front simple(read this as demo car).
@ umang - yest i was travelling in a highway and in opposite direction found a black lancer - it was so superb to see them in road , over all it was so stylish to see a black lancer on road . i changed my mind on selling it. hehe , but yeah still its for sale - only when some what the mentioned price is achieved.
Apart from lancer , a ohc was superb to see in a highway , next the civic and baleno .
Hope all have have a long bonnet!!!
