Can you please show me the photos of CLEAN INTERIOR of your car. Though I have booked a SMT (and the dealer could not show me the interiors of EMT as had no car at that moment), the music system is not appealing and two rear power windows are useless for my tiny family. I am thinking if should spend few extra thousands for those chrome rings.
Music system is cleverly made, it has only AUX and USB inputs... (good indicative of the target audience as well) CD's are passe these days. I believe City also has the same stereo unit. Sound quality is pretty decent; You will realize the importance of having power rear windows only in the long run. [;)]

In SMT, you are not only getting chrome rings but also:
Steering Mounted Audio Controls (very very handy)
Body Coloured Outside Rear View Mirrors
Body Coloured Outer Door Handles
Full Trim Wheels
Keyless Entry
Front Power Window Auto Down
Accessory Socket
Not to mention additional choice of colors

All the above items do add some look good quotient to the car; ultimately they all do stack up pretty well. In the end, get the variant that satisfies most if not all of your requirements.

Isn't that offer valid on EMT, if it is EMT is value for money. :)

What about S(O)MT, is discount more on it?

Though I have taken EMT, every time I read about some freak road accident, I wish I could have taken S(O)MT.

I think there is some confusion, Sam saying SMT has 12v socket & drsuvro saying it doesn't.

Anyway we can use USB ports (2 in my HU) of music system to charge mobiles.
No there is no such offer on EMT, at least in Kolkata. And the test drive vehicle did not have the 12V point.

Ownership Review Update:
------------------------------------

2nd Service:
-------------
Got my 2nd service done in oct first week & due to my less usage odometer was just over 2k that time. It was the last free service and oil changed was done which costed me around 1.3k with taxes.

Service Assistant showed me that my a/c mode cable is out of place and suggested that it might be the side effect of aftermarket stereo fitting.

I asked him if he can fix this thing up to which he told me to come later as that part was not available with them & he asked me to show it to the accessories shop from where I got my stereo installed.

Started Taking Car to office:
---------------------------

Since early nov, I am taking car regularly to office doing a run of about 70 kms almost 4 times a week.

In my route there are few red lights and mostly it takes a shade less than an hour in covering one way distance of 35KM distance, about 60% of my route consists of noida expressway.

Odo is showing 4.6K now.

FE is OK type:
------------------
I have started measuring FE using full tank method as I was doing full tank often these.
Got FE of 15.6, 14.6 & 16.2(all without AC) in last 3 checks, were as mileage indicator was showing +1 in all the cases.

Got a few Accessories:
-------------------------
I was missing key less entry badly, so got autocop xs 8200 for 4k which provide in car motion detection in addition to reverse siren. Got an arm rest installed too for 1k, it's good but I feel its too shaky :(.

I showed the AC mode cable to accessories shop guy, he said there is no way I have touched it but he tried to fix it but in vain. :(

In near future will try to get AC Mode cable fixed.

Great going with your EMT. I personally got an EXMT. I have made a review. Please go through it.
I made a choice of EXMT over EMT because of thevery fact that that I saw a music system being fitted from outside market. Each of the front wire was exposed. There mst be 200 of them!!!

Can you please make a list of accessories that you got?

What material do you use to clean your car at home?

About the dent, did the HONDA at first or second service do a touch up for these?

Thanks and happy motoring!!!!

Yes at service they do paint touch job for scratchs. I took my Brio for 1st service with two scratches and for both are barely visible now [clap].

@ Doc_Praveen:

Its not a long list:
1) Floor carpet elegence (2k)
2) JVC Bluetooth Head Unit (5.5K) & 4 speakers (9K)
3) 70% CLT Sun films (when they were allowed -6K)
4) Autocop XS 8200 (4K)
5) Armrest (1K)

As I was selecting somewhat costly accessories my wife is now dead against spending extra money in car until and unless its too much required. [confused]

I am yet to get:
1) Seat Covers
2) Mud flaps
3) Side Beeding
4) Rear Parcel tray

I used to clean my car in initial days but as I don't have covered parking I went with a cleaning guy which cleans my car every day with wet cloth(I guess).

The dealer where I took my car for servicing told me that Honda doesn't do dry denting. Not sure how true it is but they did some touch up to the scratches.

@RightNow:

They have installed two sensors in my car near front doors, these sensors will be activated if the car is locked using remote key for 40 seconds. Once they are active any hand or motion inside the car will active the siren. So, it provide protection if someone is trying to get into the car either from open window or by breaking the window.

So this sensor remains activated only for 40 secs after you lock the car?

No, what I meant was they become activated after 40 seconds & remain activated until we unlocks the car.

Another feature which is useful but irritating is auto lock. If all doors are locked for 60 seconds with ign off, lock get activated automatically. Its will come handy if we forget to lock the car. But I find it more irritating rather useful :)

Thats what I guessed. In car sensor is a good thing to have. Nice feature.

The autolock thing is present in most cars, again very useful. If one day you forget to lock the car and find it locked when you come back back after shopping, you won't find it irritating anymore.

And, now I can congratulate you.
Congrats for your Brio Naveen. Have fun.

not exactly, if you park your car on road / crowded place and there is a loud noise or even a kid touches it by mistake, the sirens go all out. I had it in my earlier car and had to remove it since it was more of a nuisance.

No, the in car sensor and the one you are talking about aren't the same, as far as I understand.

The one you mentioned is when a vibration is sensed on car body from outside, but the 'in car sensor' detects any movement from inside the car. So, both are different and the latter one is particularly useful.

how would in car sensors be of any help to prevent theft unless they work in tandem with outside sensors ?

you mean to say outside sensors are not there and unless someone breaks the car window and goes in if you are stupid enough not to push up the windows and the thief tries to steal something from inside the car, then only the sensors will work ?

Naveen hasn't mentioned whether he got outside sensors or not. Generally these days the outside sensors do necessarily not come with the autolock kit.

Your point is valid- when some thief tries to get inside car, outside the siren would blow anyways so what's the need for inside sensor. Yeah but the 'theft' part was mentioned by Naveen only.

What I am referring to is a situation when you forget someone inside the car and lock it unknowingly. So the in car motion sensors will let you know that something is going on inside car. This feature was there in earlier vento models equipped for same purpose. Also note that vento did not have any outside sensor or siren, so in this case the in car sensor proved to be useful again.
