^^ true, but if you service through chevy A.S.S. They check the v -belt (This is what they call it) in EVERY service, I actually saw there checklist for regular servicing, this part was there.

I have changed it 55k even though it was scheduled to 60K.
I chanaged it on 50K but after 55K the belt worn out again. Every service cost me 20 to 30k. It stalled in a busy road traffic and had to call them to toe to their service center. I would say 1 to 50K kms wo uld be a good journey with chevy cars after 50k km it shows its real character. Because American cars are like that. I used to use GMC SUV when I was in abroad. It started troubling when it reached 50K km.

Sorry to hear your ordeal. I might be more cautious with my car next time.. as it is well past the 50k mark..
On a side note.. Just with the intention to help you. Did you consult with other ASS before accepting those big shot changes??(I am actually worrying now as my last service bill goes to 24k)

Continuation of my previous post.. If anybody wonder how many sensor does report to the OBD2 port of a 06 Aveo.. Check the screenshot.. [:D]

Lucky you. you car run on Diesel. but like all the brand. Chevy does charm you one way or other, Mine doen't feel that powerful or a hard turner. But it does charm you with quality interior, the smooth cruising ability. Almost cut off the sound when rolled up window. and cabin space.

BTW my car ac is perfect as per SA. This is not best chiller (not a figo certainly) but not I20 either. It takes a bit of time to be comfortable, but once reach comforting temp, it can maintain well. This are big car with big glass area, So I dont expect them to be better.
