@Doctor: With alloy your Alto is looking very nice. BTW. did the ground clearance increased or decreased from stock Tyre? If you ask the main reason why Alto800 looks awkward from some distance because of massive ground clearance.
Ground clearance has increased by an inch or so coz it has 13 inch wheels instead of 12.
I'm not sure though...

Hello everyone !!!

After clearing final year exams of MBBS my dad traded our 15 years old M 800 for an alto 800 [:D]
I got 13 inch plati alloys fitted the very same day...
here are some pics
Congrats buddy. This is the first time I am seeing a Alto 800 with alloys. And it looks simply great! [clap]
I have asked my bro about fitting a alloy but he doesn't want to compromise on mileage. Since your car is new, I guess there is no point asking the mileage.
Anyways, wish you happy miles.

I would like to start an ownership thread but I'm new to this forum and all.
Can you please tell me how to start a new Thread ? [confused]

@ Jihu and doctor,

Off topic, how are your Alto 800 doing? What are the FE figures in City and Highway? How do you find the power and torque with and without AC? And lastly how are the suspensions compared to old gen M800/Alto?

Cheers,
Anshuman

My Alto 800 is doing fine. It has covered more than 3.5k kms. Fuel figures are really good. Get around 16-17 in city under all conditions & about 20-21 in highways. The A/C doesn't effect the FE much.
Compared to the old Alto, the power with A/C is even better. It doesn't lag too much.
The suspension I believe is somewhat the same IMO.

Congrats for your baby Suzuki. on of the best color your brother chosen. happy miles :)
Thanks a lot. Even I felt it as the best suited color on the Alto 800. My bro & his wife first was inclined more towards the Frost Blue & Torque Blue color. But later, I told them to get the Granite Grey & they themselves found that it suited better on it.

Hi Jihu and Doctor,

Have you done ICE set up for Alto 800 LXi ? Please let me know where do we place the speakers?

Also is there any 12V lighter socket in front ? Did not find in brochure or demo vehicle.

Cheers,
Anshuman

ICE set up was done from an aftermarket shop. I insisted them to fix all 4 speakers on the doors. Mainly coz, the box creates a space issue in the boot, on the parcel tray, it makes a mess of wires & on the boot lid, it isn't really capable of holding the speaker's weight. Had experienced before!

There is no socket available for Alto 800. You need to fix it from outside. I got mine fixed for just 100 bucks or so!

So did you use 6" speakers for all doors? How did they fix? Did they use spacers ?

How is socket get power? Is it direct connection from the battery?

If possible please post some internal photos after this set up.

I don't know any details about the fitting procedure. Nor asked them. :stupid:
Regarding the socket too, I don't have any idea about that since my bro got it done & the car isn't here. The car will arrive only in 3-4 weeks.
