This September, Hyundai is offering the ‘S’ petrol variant of the Xcent at a special price of Rs 5.39 lakhs. The move is expected to help Hyundai boost the sales for the Xcent this festive season. Additionally, the company is also offering benefits of up to Rs 90,000 on the other variants of the Xcent in petrol as well as diesel engine options.

Speaking of features, the ‘S’ variant of the Xcent gets rear defogger, LED DRLs and turn indicator on ORVMs, in addition to all the features from the lower E+ variant. The trim also gets rear parking sensor, keyless entry (folding key), impact sensing door unlock, passenger vanity mirror, luggage lamp and tilt steering. Inside, the S variant gets metal finish inside door handles, and chrome finished gear knob and parking lever tip. Maruti Ertiga sales decline to 3,515 units – Discounts upto Rs 55,000 offered

2018 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will be sold via standard Arena network and not through premium NEXA dealers in India.

2018 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will be launched in the last week of October, just ahead of the festive season in the country. To clear stocks, current Ertiga is being sold by dealers at a discount of up to Rs 55,000 depending on the city and model. New Ertiga unofficial bookings are open at Rs 11,000.

New Maruti Swift, WagonR, Alto discounts of up to Rs 1 lakh this Diwali 2018

With the festive mood gaining momentum, automakers are aiming to make a killing in the coming months. As the competition gets hotter, automakers are trying to outdo each other by offering various freebies and huge discounts. The intention is also to dispose of unsold inventory, as new variants will be launched during the festive season. Discounts can make a huge difference to sales, especially in the price-sensitive hatchback segment.

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R – Wagon R AMT variant is being offered at a discount of up to Rs 1 lakh. Top-end variants have undergone a makeover and they now have a stylish front fascia. These are being offered with benefits of up to Rs 75,000. Discounts are also available on CNG variants of Wagon R, but the amount is relatively less and based on availability.

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 – This is especially designed to zigzag through busy urban roads and it competes with the likes of Renault Kwid 1.0 and Datsun Redigo 1.0. It derives its power from a small, yet powerful 1-litre engine that can also be seen in Wagon R and Celerio. A 5-speed AMT on the Alto K10 makes driving a pleasure on busy streets. In case of automatic variants of Alto K10, dealers are offering discounts of up to Rs 85,000. For manual gearbox trims, discounts are up to Rs 75,000.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio – This is available in both a standard hatchback version and a slightly larger cross-hatch variant CelerioX. Celerio competes with the likes of Tata Tiago whereas CelerioX’s rivals include Tata Tiago NRG. However, both variants have the same K series 1-litre engine that’s mated to either a manual or AMT transmission. Discounts and benefits worth Rs 85,000 are available on Celerio and CelerioX at specific dealerships.

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 – A bestseller and the smallest car in Maruti’s portfolio, Alto 800 is currently available with discounts and benefits worth around Rs 65,000. Alto 800 gets its power from a 48hp, 796cc, three-cylinder petrol engine that’s mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Alto’s primary competitors are 800cc Redigo and Kwid.

Maruti Suzuki Swift – All-new Swift has been witnessing brisk sales since its launch, but discounts and benefits of up to Rs 47,000 are still being offered by dealers. Swift is powered by an 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol and a 75hp, 1.3-litre diesel engine, with options for both 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT. AMT was also recently introduced in top-end Z+ trims. Swift primarily competes with Hyundai Grand i10.

Honda CRV discount at Rs 1.5 lakhs ahead of new CRV diesel launch

New Honda CR-V is scheduled for launch on October 9, 2018. HCIL showcased the SUV at 2018 Auto Expo, and at the time, confirmed its launch within the financial year. With launch now near, Honda dealers who have existing stocks of the CRV, are selling it at a discount of Rs 1.5 lakhs.

The current Honda CRV is priced from Rs 24.8 lakhs for the 2.0 liter 2WD AT variant and Rs 27.1 lakhs for the 2.4 liter AWD option. Both options are powered by petrol engine. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Renault Duster and Toyota Corolla Altis Available on Heavy Discount, Benefits Upto Rs 1 Lakh

Renault and Toyota are offering heavy discounts on the compact SUV Duster and premium sedan Corolla Altis respectively. As per various reports on the internet, Renault is offering discounts worth Rs 1 lakh on the 110 PS variant. Toyota is offering the similar benefits to a tune of Rs 1 Lakh on the Corolla Altis sedan. Both the cars are getting these benefits including cash discounts, free insurance and exchange bonus.

While on the Renault Duster, the cash discount amount to Rs 60000, a free 1 year insurance is also offered worth Rs 40000. On the other hand, one can avail a cash discount of Rs 35000 on the Toyota Corolla Altis along with and exchange bonus of Rs 20000 and corporate discount worth Rs 45000.

The discounts and benefits are seen as a measure to counter looming sales of both the cars. The petrol Renault Duster is currently priced at Rs 7.95 lakh, while the 85 PS diesel Duster starts at Rs 8.95 Lakh. The 110 PS Duster is currently available at Rs 11.20 lakh.
