Honda City, Amaze, Civic: Offers up to Rs 1.60 lakh in July 2020

Honda Cars India is among the busiest automakers in July 2020. Having already launched the 2020 Honda WR-V, it is set to introduce the 2020 Honda City and the 2020 Honda Civic diesel in the coming few days. In order to boost the sales of its present products like the fourth-generation Honda City, Honda Amaze and Honda Civic petrol, the company is providing offers up to Rs 1.60 lakh on them this month.

The fourth-generation Honda City will be sold in India alongside the upcoming fifth-generation Honda City (2020 Honda City). The fourth-gen City is equipped with a sole BS6-compliant, 1.5-litre, i-VTEC petrol engine (119PS and 145Nm of torque) that has 5-speed MT and CVT automatic options. Tata Motors brings in six-month EMI holiday scheme on select models

Tata Motors on Wednesday said it has introduced financing scheme for Tiago, Nexon, and Altroz under which customers can avail six-month EMI holiday. Under the scheme, customers can now make zero down payment, avail a six-month EMI holiday (only interest needs to be serviced monthly) and access up to 100 per cent on-road funding for a loan tenure of five years, Tata Motors said in a statement.

This offer is being made available through a partnership with Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) to eligible salaried and self-employed persons," it added.

The automaker said it is also offering affordable, step-up EMIs on long-tenure loans of up to eight years through its association with multiple financing partners.

Ford introduces 6 months EMI Skip plan: Low rate of interest, last scheme date explained

Ford India has been rolling out new initiatives for the benefit of its existing customers as well as prospective ones. After announcing that its dealerships are opening in a phased manner, with proper COVID-19 prevention methods in place, the brand is now ready to welcome customers. Those who prefer to book a car from the comfort of home, there is also the option to call the Ford hotline or else logon to the website. Along with all these initiatives, Ford India is also planning to draw in customers with new schemes. The six months EMI Skip plan has been introduced. Customers are being offered a 60-month finance scheme. If one opts for it, he/she is eligible for a six months EMI Skip plan as well. In this plan, a customer will have to start paying his EMIs from the seventh month. If a customer plans to do a pre-payment or foreclosure, they will have to pay extra charges

Moreover, if one were to buy the Ford EcoSport with the aforementioned terms and conditions, 8.99 per cent rate of interest will be applicable. If the customer decides to go for the Ford Aspire, Figo or Freestyle with the same scheme, a higher 9.50 per cent interest will be applied. Customers can also avail a Step-up plan. In this, the customer can choose to start from a lower EMI and slowly increase the payment over time.

In order to ease the car buying process, Maruti Suzuki recently introduced a car subscription program that allows new car buyers to pay a monthly cost to buy a brand new car, without having to go through the trouble of paying the down payment, insurance cost, or even the maintenance charges incurred during the ownership period.

A range of Maruti Suzuki Arena cars, as well as Nexa cars are eligible for subscription, including the Swift, Dzire, Brezza, Ertiga, XL6, Baleno and Ciaz. The Swift, being the most affordable of this lot, is being offered at the lowest monthly subscription fee of just Rs 21,344 (inclusive of all taxes). If you book the Maruti Suzuki Swift for a tenure of 48 months right now, it would cost you as low as Rs 711 per day.

Do note that the new subscription service is only available in Gurgaon and Bangalore as of now, and these are the prices for the former city. Mahindra & Mahindra introduces affordable finance schemes for customers

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) on Wednesday introduced new affordable finance schemes for its customers for all its vehicles, which includes EMI starting as low as Rs 899 per lakh for personal utility vehicles (UVs). The company said it has included up to 10 per cent of ex-showroom price funding options for accessories for personal UVs and first nine months EMI will be 50 per cent lower than regular EMIs for personal UVs.

The scheme also includes an option for first six months EMI to be lower by 76 per cent from regular EMIs for personal UVs, and up to seven years funding for Bolero Pickup and Bolero Maxi Truck, M&M said in a statement.

"Along with finance option for accessories, the company has also focused on all customer profiles including salaried and self-employed individuals, agriculturist and commercial vehicle owners to offer innovative and exciting schemes for its entire range of vehicles, it said.

The finance schemes offered during the last couple of months continue to be amongst the offers available for the customers to choose from.

These include schemes such as 'Own now and pay in 2021,' 'Upto 8 years funding', '100 per cent on-road funding' and 'Own BSVI Pickup at BSIV EMI', the company added.

Tata Nexon Electric Subscription Plan Prices from Rs 42k per month

Tata Nexon EV, the home grown automaker's first mass market electric vehicle for personal buyers, is now available via subscription in India. Even though car subscription plans are still a rather new phenomenon in India, the concept is quickly picking up pace as well as acceptance in the country owing to the ease it offers.
