Mahindra XUV400 EV gets Rs 1.25 lakh discount for second month in a row

Mahindra is offering discounts of up to Rs 1.25 lakh on models such as the XUV400, Marazzo, XUV300, Bolero and Bolero Neo this September, and most of these offers remain unchanged from last month. There are, however, no offers on popular models such as Thar, Scorpio N and XUV700. Interested customers can avail the benefits as cash discounts or genuine accessories on each of these models. Discounts may vary as per the location.

The XUV400 is the only EV in Mahindra’s portfolio and is available with the highest discount this month with a flat cash discount of Rs 1.25 lakh; there are no free accessories on offer. Do note that the discount is applicable on models without ESC as standard, as the model was update recently with the same. It is available in two variants – EC and EL – that have a claimed MIDC range of 375km and 456km, respectively. Both variants are powered by a front axle-mounted electric motor that produces 150hp and 310Nm of torque.

MG ZS EV price dropped by up to Rs 2.30 lakh

Following the price cuts of the Hector and Hector Plus, MG Motor India has now slashed the prices of the ZS EV by up to Rs 2.30 lakh. Prices for the MG ZS EV now start at Rs 22.88 lakh for the Excite variant and go up to Rs 25.90 lakh for the Exclusive Pro variant. MG Motor India says that these new prices are due to both, a reduction in input costs and a streamline in the supply chain, and a part of its 100-year celebrations. Tata Nexon EV Max, Prime get up to Rs 2.60 lakh year-end discounts

Tata Motors launched the Nexon EV facelift earlier in September this year, but dealers continue to have unsold stock of the pre-facelift Nexon EV in both Prime and Max variants. The carmaker is offering year-end benefits of up to Rs 2.60 lakh on these models which can be availed in the form of cash discounts and exchange bonuses. MG, Tata EV prices reduced to boost sales; Mahindra holds steady

In a bid to push inventory and achieve sales targets, mass market brands like Tata Motors and MG Motor India have slashed prices of their popular models. The Nexon EV, which received a significant facelift in late 2023, is priced up to Rs 1.2 lakh lower. Now, prices for the Nexon EV range between Rs 14.49 lakh-19.29 lakh. The Nexon EV is the most popular EV SUV in India and sees average monthly sales of over 1,750 units. Even then, dealers have leftover units of the pre-facelift Nexon EV and also MY2023 stock of the facelifted model, which were available with discounts of up to Rs 2.8 lakh and Rs 1 lakh, respectively. Now, with the price cut for MY2024 Nexon EV, the unsold stocks from last year could be had with even more benefits.
