New Delhi, November 4, 2019:
When it comes to EVs, India stands at the cusp of a revolution – and MG (Morris Garages) Motor India’s latest brand campaign might just be the spark that ignites it. Featuring Benedict Cumberbatch and the soon-to-be-launched MG ZS EV, #ChangeWhatYouCan is a call-to-arms for Indians to drive positive societal change and champion environmental conservation through EV adoption.
Revolving around the concepts of green mobility and societal change, the campaign’s title encapsulates its core proposition: making personal changes that contribute to a large-scale transformation. Benedict’s powerful narration stresses the need for a change in existing mindsets and how, one person at a time, these little changes can create a powerful impacta on society.
#ChangeWhatYouCan also reaffirms MG Motor India’s commitment to the betterment of communities and the environment. The carmaker has already launched several initiatives to raise EV awareness amongst Indian consumers, in addition to partnering with key players in the global EV charging landscape to bolster the country’s EV charging ecosystem. Through the latest campaign, it aims to further encourage EV adoption and catalyse a revolution that has been brewing for some time.

MG Motor India has unveiled the MG ZS EV in India. This is the first electric vehicle from the company's stable and it certainly is a bold move. We say that because, this is the second offering from MG Motor India and it's an all electric SUV. The ZS EV that comes to India is the same spec as the one sold in the UK but the company is assembling the electric car at its Halol plant in Gujarat. Because of this, expect the car to be priced aggressively and yes, it will compete with the likes of the Hyundai Kona when prices are announced in January 2020.

The MG ZS EV gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto and we wait to see how intuitive it really is. There's a flat-bottomed steering wheel, USB mobile charging at the front and rear, bluetooth functionality and even a rear-view camera. For those wanting a sunroof, well, MG Motor India offers a panoramic sunroof on the car and yes it's standard. The MG ZS EV is also equipped with I Smart EV 2.0 connected car technology which makes it a connected car. The MG ZS EV comes with a PM 2.5 air filter which can bring bad air quality level of up to 300 AQI down to regular levels in just 35 mins.

Now this is a UAT Site under testing and not made live yet. But I guess the prices seem to be finalized. on another thought, probably, MG might have purposefully let this figure out and then come up with may be a lac or 2 lower and get the customers instantly.
