Now Car completed 72K Km on Monday night.

Now reading as of yesterday-72041 Km.

Shark had done 72500 Km and running had reduced drastically since 17 days

My Shark had done 72444 Km as of today.My Shark's running is reducing drastically.I hope that he would increase his running.He had done almost 840 Km in 17 days after servicing.

That is due to lack of usage for my father due to going in other vehicles like Rapid,Innova.

My Shark had burnt due to short circuit

My Shark had burnt due to short circuit.It had burnt from bonnet to headlight.I felt so sad today.I got my friend's 2011 Swift today.

Car wiring burnt story

Actually,my driver was driving the car and observed the smoke coming from engine.After seeing this,he told that wiring had burnt due to short circuit and it had burnt on right fender,glass and R.H.S Headlight.

I m bit sad today.It was towed by the garage,which I gave to them on 70,000 Km Service.

Mods-Please Change this title-My Silver Shark-Swift VDI 2010-73,000 Km-Edit-Car wiring had burnt.

Now,hunt for the new Car begins.

New Headlight set changed and Michelin completed 5,000 Km of driving bliss

Saw the pics from my driver's phone.L.H.S Headlight set had burnt totally and Fender had burnt slightly.But,nothing happened to Shark's Front.

Teasers of New Headlight coming soon.

BTW,We had completed 5,000 Km with Michelin XM2.

My observations so far:

1.No noise,good grip and better than my old stock tires.
2.I hope that it would last about another 50,000 Km with new owner.
3.Steering became bit easy.

So,this is my observations with Michelin's so far in 2.5 Months.

From what you have posted, i assume, the damage was not drastic. Please post some pics. Also i hope Maruti guys are investigating the issue.

New Pics of My Shark

Posting my new Pics of my Shark before the fire incident.

1.The Headlight,which had burnt.
2.The Headlight,which is not burnt and
3.Shark with My Friend's Swift,which we had used till yesterday and their Octavia.

My Shark had burnt due to adding double horns.Now,I realized that I should not install any aftermarket things.Specially,if we buy a Rapid or a Vento by this year-end,will not install those crappy things.Car's bonnet and fender,which had patched slightly like a burnt,will be covered under insurance.

My Shark's total estimation of this fire accident is whopping Rs.64,000.The Insurance surveyor will check the Shark at the garage and will give the total quote.

I hope that they will give the Shark in this week.We had many plans to go to highway in Shark next week.

My Brother's White Shark Swift-20,000 Km Review

So guys,

We are using my brother's 2011 Old Swift,which had done 19,700 Km in 15 Months 8 Days.

So the review of my brother's White Shark is up,

I am posting this thread of Silver Shark a.k.a My Swift's brother 'White Shark'. He had done 19,700 Km in 1 Year 3 Months 8 Days. This was the only car in the stockyard. Bought this car on July 10th 2011. The dealer was Saboo Motors. Nice experience from this Dealer.

Previously, my uncle had Tata Indigo LS 2004 version, bought as a used car in 2007, done 30K Km. He had done about this car till 50K Km in 4 years. Now, he had done done 80K Km before selling. He didn't like this car because it is Tata and expensive maintenance, so he sold off the car in May 2011 and used his own motorcycle Hero Honda Splendor+ 2010 till their Swift comes. So, the bike had done 12K in 2 years. His monthly running is 1200 Km/month. So, diesel car is needed. Then we shortlisted Vista and Swift. He ruled out Vista due to Tata. So, he bought Swift after seeing our car. So, Swift is the winner for him.

Accessories added:

1. Mega Audio USB/AM/FM Player
2. Auto Graphics Sports sticker (later removed due to lack of show)
3. OM sticker to the bonnet (that also removed) and
4. Garware Dark Sun Film.

Planned things of this White Shark:

1.Removal of Sun Film
2.20,000 Km Service
3.W/A and W/B
4.Left Side ORVM replacement(a useless fellow smacked the ORVM)

Update on my Shark Senior a.k.a Silver Swift:

The surveyor checked the Shark on Monday and on Tuesday,we gave all claim papers on that day and tomorrow,they would be starting the painting work of my Shark.I m expecting that my Shark should come back after Dussera.

Finally,we had 2 Swifts at home

Finally,in our home,we had 2 Swifts.One is White Shark and our company's August 2012 Swift VDI,which had done 12500+ Km in 2.5 Months.
