Tata, Fiat may be affected!
The batch of defective bolts had been made with raw materials that were not to specification and hence, their durability has been compromised. Since Fiat and Tata also use the same 1.3 Fiat Multi-jet diesel engine, the chances of these defective bolts finding their way into these cars cannot be ruled out.The supplier in question is an Italian firm which supplies part to Tata , Fiat also.

Mumbai: New car catches fire on expressway
A three-month old Maruti Swift Dzire caught fire on Mumbai's Vikhroli's expressway today.
The engine got heated and as soon as the driver stepped out the car went up in flames and was gutted almost immediately.
The driver was travelling from Aurangabad to Mumbai.
