See the noticeable height difference because of different wheels.

Shouldn't the Alpha have an inch more of GC ? So why has Maruti not differentiated it in the specs as 172.5mm ?

NO. Gc for both the trim will be same. If you see the tyre size, Alpha has 195/55/R16 section tyre whereas sigma has 185/65/R15 section tyre. Now if you calculate the height of the wheel center from ground it will be same as 310 mm for both the cases. Hence GC will be same for both Alpha and Sigma.

No. GC will be same as D.J.D mentioned.

After a numerous test drives on Alpha trim and lots and lots of thinking sold my Amaze and Booked Baleno Zeta Petrol [clap]. RM at Nexa Madhapur(Hyd) has given estimated delivery time of 3-4 weeks. [:D]

Thought of booking after January so the manufacturing year would show as 2016. But RM told that we might get cars of 2015 manufactured until February atleast. Cant wait for so long to be on road revving and hence went ahead and booked Granite Grey Zeta.

I can change the colour though.

Can you shed your views on which color is good either Premium Silver or Granite Grey. [confused]

I like the silver one better. I know for one that the granite grey colour is dark (as compared to the glistening grey Maruti has in the Swift), so it will be a high maintenance colour- scratches and dust will be seen easier. I also felt the silver colour make the care look bigger

I still cant make up my mind as to whether or not to go for the base Sigma in that colour, lack of chrome trims, very drab single colour dash, central lock with key instead of remote, single rear seat, lack of a tachometer. The lack of wheel caps, electrically folding mirrors and ICE is not a deal killer as those can always be added and of better quality than the OEM stuff

Congrats chsrdeepu8 for booking the Baleno.
Premium Silver surely looks modern and attractive compared to the Granite Grey which is very dark like Ameyam mentioned.

Alpha is the variant where the Baleno does look distinctive, in other variants it looks like a grown up Swift with slightly longer hood. I like this premium silver, have seen some SCross's in the same color.

Is less running the reason for going for Petrol or are you impressed by the refinement and performance of the K12 Engine ?

Silver looks better without a doubt , however i've not seen white Baleno in person , how is the presence of baleno in " Pearl artic white " color? Is it similar to Pearl snow white as on Ciaz or any better?

It has absolutely tremendous presence, atleast from the front and front three quarters, specifically with those projectors! Take a look. Also adding the white Ciaz pictures for reference.

Re: Suzuki's New Premium Hatchback Baleno Now Launched!

My first post on this forum. Booked Baleno Petrol Zeta in Premium Silver color on 31-Oct-2015. RM said that the waiting time is 6-8 weeks and would call at an appropriate time when he can foresee the car arriving. Booked the car from Kailash Colony Nexa (Rana Motors, Delhi). Went to another Nexa showroom opposite my office in Noida yesterday (Sector 63 Nexa). RM there said that he can deliver the car in a maximum of 4 weeks and promised delivery by 5-Dec-2015. Any idea why such a difference b/w dealerships as i have already entered the company queue for Baleno? This is my first car so i will be needing a lot of advice from you guys with my Baleno purchase.

Thanks @hari.vgl for sharing those pics! Pearl Snow white as name suggest is white as snow, which IMO looks better than Pearl Artic white! I think Baleno has same color as Swift ! However Artic white will age better , Just my guess!

I did some editing and i think it looks cooler now! Sorry for editing quality as i did it on my phone.
