Maruti Suzuki Alto LX: Nearing 40k Kms

well, pretty nice car alto. my friend own 2001 model and has done 1.6 lac km and still going strong.

Thanks mate. My ride will be getting a huge change next year which will include both interior and exteriors.

no, i didnt get the desired shade.
About the changes there will be external mods like alloys etc. Mainly i will be focussing on enhancement of interiors and i have some plans for that, and those wont be like door trims etc.
But nothing before next year since i have a lot of academic pressures this year.

My ride is ready to face the monsoons.

1.Bosch Wiper Blades
2.Fog lamp changed to Halonix(Bosch or any other brand wasnt available)
3.Waxing has been done
4.Got a new set of fibre mudflaps.

Repairs-
Changed the silencer(front) as the previous one got damaged. Costed Rs.1750.

Wheel allignment and balancing has been done again since the car was pulling left. Issue has been resolved now.

New Wiper blades installation is just a precautionary measure.

One of the foglamp bulb went kaput hence got a new set of bulbs. I dont like mismatch hence changed both the bulbs.


One of the mudflap went off on a bump. So had to get a new set. Will be painting them after monsoons over.

Thanks 350Z, i will be checking out the accesories of New AltoK10, maybe i will find something for enhancing the interiors.
No, the are below the fog lamps has not been painted, but thats Vinyl work. BTW do you like it? I am going to paint it like that when i will give it for the Denting painting job after monsoons.

Btw i will be going for the swift foglamp assembly(cost- rs.1300 approx for a pair), because the aftermarket assembly which is currently installed, is prone to water entry due to inferior quality due to which one or the other fog lamp gets fused. I have changed 3pairs of bulbs(1 was stock) in past 1years.
