Maruti Ritz Vs Hyundai Grand i10 (Petrol)

Its mostly the speed of 80s with long stretches of bad roads.
Also it was my initial period of driving GRAND.
I used to switch AC on immediately after the car is on move, learned it later that during initial period its a better practice to switch it on after car has run couple of KMS.

For which car ?
6500/- for PW - simply go for it. looks/installation/feel is like factory fit.Check out my thread
then 5900/- for the central locking - Go to an aftermarket shop.Ask for systems specially for maruti from reputed brands.
and 13000/- for double din sterero (jvc,pioneer,sony) with four speakers - Aftermarket again at a much lower cost.No point in going for MGA.I got an OEM unit with speakers for 4000/- because I asked some accessories guys to arrange one for me which people exchange for touchscreen units etc. I prefer OEM looks only but was not willing to spend 13-14k for the same especially when they have average Sound.
then 1600/- for wheel covers and 900/- for side beading 900/- - Aftermarket again, just make sure you buy good quality ones.There will be many qualities available from as low as 250/- to 600/- etc. Go for good quality ones which are equivalent to MGA

Guys, I got a phone call from Hyundai dealer for a follow up.
I said "I am not going to book Grand i10 petrol because it has Kappa 1.2 engine which was in i10 and it s*cks... I have read many reviews about very bad mileage and my relatives also said the same.."
Just to listen what sales person replies..
He said that this is "Kappa-2 1.2" engine which is 2nd gen. engine and it will deliver better mileage than older Kappa 1.2 in i10.

Tell him that kappa2 use to come in the previous i10's too. The engines in i10 changed from IRDE to kappa to kappa2. kappa2 was equally notorious for bad mileage.
And this might scare you even more kappa2 in previous i10 had an ARAI claim of 20.5kmpl and used to give 10kmpl.The same engine in grande i10 has an ARAI claim of 18.5kmpl so this logic says in real world conditions grande i10 should give even lesser.
( just a simple logic , not sure , maybe tuning in grande i10 is better )

And, your advice is 100% true. 1st time I have visited Hyundai showroom for price and Test drive, 1 sales person come and start explaining features of Grand i10 era. He said there are no power windows in Era. I said please check again, there are front power windows available.
Again he replies with confidence that NO.. No front power windows. I laughed ridiculously in front of him. I said go and check then come back again. He go to counter bring some paper with him and read for 5 minutes and said Yes. It has front power windows.

I actually have no intention for doing the same.(unlike some owners who tend to praise their cars no matter what )
I am just saying what i know.
I have also stated many +ves for i10 grande and why it is better than ritz in my previous posts.
But here we are concentrating on FE .Ritz/swift had a clear advantage over previous i10 in this respect.It remains to be seen whether i10 has made any improvements in petrol i10 in this respect.

Guys,@ FE wait for another week, anyways after tank full I have run 65Kms and teh fuel indicator has shown a minor shift today (Looks like my grand is giving 20KMPL![[evil]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Evil.gif "Evil [evil]")
