Maruti Suzuki’s domestic sales jump 27% in April 2015.
Maruti Suzuki India Ltd’s April sales in the domestic market rose 27% to
100,709 units, led by expansion in its entry-level models such as Alto and Wagon R.
Sales of mini segment cars, including, Alto and WagonR, stand at 35,403 units
Compact segment comprising Swift, Estilo, Ritz, Dzire rose to 42,297, compact sedan Dzire Tour at 1826, Ciaz at 4662 and Gypsy, Grand Vitara and Ertiga at 4452 are the major contributors.
Hyundai:
Meanwhile, second largest passenger car maker and largest exporter
Hyundai Motor India (HMIL), registered domestic sales of
38,601 units in April, up 9.5 per cent. 12,425 units of Elite i20 and i20 Active are major contributors for Hyundai's sales figures.
