they call it

for 50K cant ask for more, but I've seen few of this hard tops, freshly installed and used in off roading, all fine. No rattle noise, nicely installed and strong construction.
That's really VFM for 50K. And all Mods also looks good. [clap]
Still dont understand why can't MnM charge more 50K and provide this all. or may be a variant that includes all this. [roll]

Bimbra also making front facing rear seat with this hard top, just I no need it, there will be no storage and place to sleep. They do not have affiliate in Mumbai I'm sure of it. I will drive to Delhi and get it fixed not sure when. Google for Bimbra Thar for more pics.

no idea, never been interested in interiors, but I've seen one Thar in their workshop in Gurgaon with completely changed interiors, that was real nice looking and quality work, not only on photographs.

Thanx a lot buddy .

Btw what kind of mileage you get ? Is this car your daily ride ? Or you just use it for off roading activities .

mileage around 12 for highway, can go down to 10 if cruising on 110-120 kmh. Dont know what exact city mileage, seems about the same.

Yes, Thar is my daily ride, Thar great car for congested city driving, AC is good even with soft top, parking easy. Sitting position and visibility superb. I'm getting Skoda Rapid Elegance TDI for highways this week, but in city will keep driving Thar.

Congrats on the Thar. The Grill looks good. How much was it? Didn't really like the bumper. There are better designs, but then it's a personal choice.

grill cost 6000, it really took Thar appearance away from Cargo Maxx.

Iron Rock, I do not do off roading as a hobby, but sometimes when situation demands I would not hesitated to go off road on Thar. So far driven on narrow mountains roads and many times over Beas on narrow steel rope suspended bridge, I guess it is off road too.

Got through sand mines once in the area where tractors guys mining sand for construction. Got them covered by dust.

Original Thar rear bumper, not suited well for offloading, but current bumper from Bimbra is OK.

Pinwheel,

First congrats on your Thar buddy.

It looks stunning and the mods you have done makes him looking great. I love those grills and front bumpers.

Yes when i started your thread i was having doubt AC in soft top. But you have mentioned it is cool and also that hard top guys has mentioned it will be better with hard top. More over having hard top is better for your valuables inside the ride. Go for it buddy.

Pls post more pics of interiors and with hard top.

thanks, this front bumper also improved aero dynamics on high speed significantly, because it not let air to be sucked under Thars body. I will post hard top pics when it will be installed. AC is effective with soft top, never sing it on full power.
