Thanks for the link. When I try to register, it gives me an error message - "contact your dealer for updating your contact details".

I am unable to login with given user id (email) and password.

Hi Sudarshan, even if you register you may not be able to download the bills.
Which the dealer management system can access.
You may have access to the last 15 services carried out details, with ODO readings on when it was done.
It is meant for feedback system, and service appointment booking.
Even you can store the issues there and submit it during booking of an appointment.

You need to contact the dealer and ask him to update the email id and cell number in their dealer management system.
As this system was live recently, and all the old customers DB needs to be registered like this.
For your reference, here is my oldest record available on the M&M self care portal.

I was on the trip to Kerala, where i had to get the rear tail lamp bulb changed.
Which i was charged 10.

Then the 8 Rs was charged for rubber stopper of brake, on a different occasion.

Nothing much to update, Hawk is falling short of 250 kms to reach 60,000 kms.
Waiting for a engine oil change and due for diesel filter change during this service.

Hoping to switch to Mobil 1 or Shell Helix HX-7 engine oil.

Yesterday's midnight drive to KIAL airport, Bangalore.

Booked an appointment @ Chrome Motors- Mysore Road for 60,000 kms on 8th of March.

My Request for following things:

1. Engine Oil Change - Earlier M&M was using Shell with Maximile package, now Valvoline is the stock which they are having. Thought to try at least for the next 10k kms.
   
2. Fuel Filter change as its 60k kms.
   
3. Then one rubber beading below left headlamp.
   
4. Checking the bushes and have insisted for replacement.
   
5. Then the rear drum and caliper painting, for Red(Thick color) 1200+ taxes, Dull black 700.
   
6. One thing SA Kiran mentioned that, they usually hammer the rear drum before removing. So if i go for red color during the next service it will have hammered marks on the drum, and also paint quality can be thick which wears out faster it seems. So he insited for Dull black which lasts longer. Need some inputs on this.
   
7. AC gas topup for the first time in 6th year, may cost upto 900/- There is no issue with AC, cooling is there but somehow want to get it topped up.

Undergoing 75 point checkup too.

The available option is Valvoline Maximile FEO.

It's a semi synthetic oil recommended by Mahindra.

They don't recommend fully synthetic oil it seems.

Getting all the bushes changed, all 8 new design bushes.

He had to say, the bushes on vehicle have survived for so long.

The new design now has bigger diameter of rubber.

The final bill will come around 14,000/-

Hey guys an update after spending a whole day with hawk.

60,000 kms update:




It was a scheduled service, which was taken appointment almost 12 days ago.

Reached dealership yesterday at 08:59 am, SA arrived around 09:15 am.

First thing he did was took the hawk to service bay, which was reserved.

As usual SA Kiran, asked me on any issues.

I told him to check the AC, as there was some muddy smell from vents.

He promised to get those vents cleaned, and then i insisted for AC gas topup, which was never done in all these 5 years.

Will check this summer in Mangalore and will give a feedback.

Rear AC vents were cleaned.


In the end some AC oil was topped up.

AC gas is being re-cycled first, extracted by the machine, that shows the readings.

The reading came around 172, where as ideal reading should be around 800 for optimum cooling.




Engine oil replaced, Maximile FEO semi synthetic.



Old oil being taken into reservoir.


Diesel Filter Cartridge, then Oil filter near engine.

The diesel primmer is the filter cartridge, by Bosch from Spain.


The violet cylinder kind of is the oil filter near engine.


The tyre had shown some unusal wear tread pattern, so alignment was also carried out.
Report:


As soon as the brake cleaning was done, the rear drums were sent for painting, dull black.
End result


Learnt a lot of new things on the suspension, got the bushes changed.

Now the hawk glides on potholes, getting feel of new vehicle, which otherwise swaying was more in bad roads.

Now happy atleast the latest design bushes are in place.

Old one has gone brittle on the left, new design on the right


All the bushes that needed change.


Initially he suggested me to go for only rear bushes change, but i told him to replace all the bushes of suspension in one go.

Also there was paint smeared on hawk by some miscreant, got that removed immediately at the dealership.

Initially had thought to go for service at one of friends new workshop in Bannerghatta, but this paint issue made me go to Chrome Motors.

Finally the bill:
Got a 10% discount and 5% on spares.
Total:13,673/-

Hi balaji, have driven it only from dealership to home after service.

Now on bad roads the suspension compensates for each pothole.

Getting feel of new vehicle.

Yes these are the new design bushes.

Earlier as the bushes had become brittle, the middle row was getting feedback of swaying even after slowing down in potholes.

Now the suspension compensates and the feedback is good.

Fantastic report "60 Saal ke Buddhe ya 60 Saal ke jawan " as the popular advert said.
Well maintained and looks like mahindra is learning on importance of bush designs - it looks a major change between old and new. Better late than never.

Kudos on crossing 60k needs some good stathamic pictures now :)
