I think the pic posted must be a render . But if its real then I must say this is height of over the top design. And will have polarizing views .

Mahindra thought something outside the box when usual trend is shifting towards sub-four meter sedans. Good move. Finally a Logan that doesn’t look boring.

As far as I know DC is closely working with M&M but this Vibe doesn’t show any signs of association of Designer.
Again Vibe is not aligned with the Mahindra’s nomenclature
e.g.
Bolero
Scorpio
Verito
Zylo
Quanto
XUV 500 (named as XUV five O O)
Scooters segment also follow the same nomenclature.
Rodiao
Duro
Most of all products finish with :- ‘’O’’.

This is the same spacious verito from inside with chopped off boot area with weird looking rear end as does many other cars from mahindra
would have loved a better propotionated rear design rather then this.But lets awaite to see how does the space and boot area engine every thing are placed with pricing with mahindra.

It definitely isn't boring to look, but an hatchback?? Finally mahindra is into the hatchback competition. The rear is somewhat unconventional and has the same DNA when the first generation logan was launched(with that ugly boot) and the tail-lamps look yuck.
Being a Mahindra i think they would price it better along with good features list, and i am sure they will sell the sedan version alongside.

The Logan by default is an ugly car and nothing much can be done to it to make it look beautiful.
Though the Vibe is not really good looking, I am glad M&M did not choose the compact sedan route. Alteast this one looks better than the new Dzire and Indigo CS which looks like someone has kicked their butt.
DC has helped M&M only with the e2O, all other cars are designed in-house.

That’s correct. Mahindra has stated in the press release that it will be known as ‘Verito Vibe’ and come equipped with a 1.5 DCi Diesel Engine. Here's an official statement:
