The bookings for Lexus NX350h are now open in India. NX range was introduced in 2018 and has been one of the most successful models for the brand in India.

Lexus NX350h will be available in Exquisite, Luxury, and F-Sport variants. It can be booked through Lexus Guest Experience Centers or 24x7 Helpdesk: 1800-3005-3987.

Unlike the outgoing 300h which had combined output of 197 BHP, the 350h will be offered with a 2.5L unit that delivers 244 BHP combined with electric motors.

New Lexus NX 350h SUV India launch on March 9, 2022

The luxury arm of Toyota has announced that the new 2022 Lexus NX 350h will be launched on March 9, 2022 in India. The new car gets updated exterior and interiors along with feature upgrades and improvements to enhance the driving experience. Offered in three variants - Exquisite, Luxury and F-Sport - bookings for the 2022 Lexus NX 350h are already open. When launched, the car will go up against the Mercedes-Benz GLC, Audi Q5, BMW X3, Volvo XC60 and the Land Rover Discovery Sport.

If the outgoing car was sharp, the new one is sharper still in terms of styling with a more distinct Lexus grille, new LED headlamps and LED daytime running lights. The rear now carries a full-width LED light bar conjoining the new LED taillamps. It rides on 20-inch alloy wheels.

The move to its second generation also brings with it major changes to the cabin of the Lexus NX 350h. There is a new dashboard and central console layout with a new 14-inch infotainment display and semi-touch climate control and seat ventilation switches. Driver orientation is the key here, incorporating Lexus’ Tazuna concept with all the controls and displays angled towards the driver. There's a new steering coupled with a 7-inch instrument panel behind it. A smaller display measuring 9.8 inches will be offered in the base variant. There is a panoramic sunroof, a Mark Levinson Premium audio system, new steering and head-up display and many other features.

The NX 350h, where the 'h' stands for hybrid, will be powered by a 2.5-litre engine mated to electric motors, with a combined output of 244bhp. The motors mounted on the front axle give the car AWD capability. There is an eight-speed automatic transmission and clever torque vectoring means that up to 50 per cent of the power can be delivered to the rear wheels.

Lexus is expected to price the new 2022 Lexus NX 350h close to the outgoing car. The outgoing Lexus NX starts at Rs 58.20 lakh for the Exquisite, Rs 63.20 lakh for the Luxury and Rs 63.63 lakh for the F-Sport trim (all prices ex-showroom).

2022 Lexus NX 350h Launched In India; Prices Start From ₹ 64.90 Lakh

The 2022 Lexus NX 350h has been launched in India priced from ₹ 64.90 lakh, going up to ₹ 71.60 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and the crossover is now in its second-generation. The crossover is offered in three variants - Exquisite, Exclusive, and F-Sport. The new Lexus NX 350h is spawned on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA-L) platform and shares its underpinnings with the fifth-generation Toyota RAV4. The new-gen model builds up on the brand's sharp design language and looks even more contemporary and angular than its predecessor. Then, it's grown a size bigger as well and is even more loaded with creature comforts on the inside.

The front end of the new Lexus NX 350h looks aggressive featuring a new blacked-out spindle grille, sleek headlamps featuring L-shaped DRLs, and C-shaped air intakes with fog lamps which accentuates the overall look. At the rear, it gets an elongated light bar conjoining the L-shaped taillights and the boot gate looks way chunkier than what we saw on the outgoing model. In terms of dimensions, the 2022 Lexus NX measures 4,661 mm in length, 1,865 mm in width, 1,661 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2,690 mm long.

On the inside, the 2022 Lexus NX 350h sports a neatly designed cabin based on the Tazuna Concept. A 9.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system takes centre stage and of course it supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also offers a 14-inch navigation system, wireless charging, a premium sound system with 10 speakers, auto climate control and powered front seats among others.

The 2022 Lexus NX 350h gets a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder engine coupled with a 259-volt lithium-ion battery, that together puts out 236 bhp of maximum power. An electronically controlled CVT unit takes care of transmission duties and comes with paddle shifters along with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system as well.

The new Lexus NX350h is also loaded to the gills in the safety features department. It gets an e-latch system, safe exit assist, panoramic view monitor, advanced driver assistance technology with an advanced park with the remote function, pre-crash safety, front cross-traffic alert, radar cruise control, lane departure alert, lane change assist, and proactive driving assist. It will also be equipped with ABS with EBD, traction control and front and rear parking sensors among others. The new Lexus NX rivals against the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, Audi Q5, Jaguar F-Pace, Land Rover Evoque and the Volvo XC60 among others.
