Lexus India is celebrating a strong first half of 2024, recording a 14% increase in sales compared to the same period last year. This growth is attributed to robust consumer demand and a continued commitment to design, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Locally-Made Success Story

The “Make in India” ES sedan played a starring role, contributing 55% of total sales from January to June 2024. This achievement highlights the success of Lexus India’s localization efforts and their resonance with Indian consumers.

The luxury SUV segment emerged as a key driver of sales, experiencing a significant 60% growth year-over-year. Popular models like the RX and NX fueled this surge, reflecting a broader trend of strong demand for luxury SUVs in India.

“We are thrilled with the positive response from our guests,” said Tanmay Bhattacharya, Executive Vice President of Lexus India. “This growth underscores our commitment to excellence.
