Land Rover Defender Journeys in India

Jaguar-Land Rover has introduced specially curated and unique travel experiences, Defender Journeys, in India. Following are some of its major highlights:

• This programme will offer luxury stays, lifestyle experiences, cultural immersion and drive across some of the most iconic routes in India with off-road trails.
• There will be five Land Rover Defenders deployed in each Journey, therefore offering only five drive slots to provide an exclusive and personalised experience.
• Four journeys have been curated so far: Konkan Experience (Goa-Bengaluru), Nilgiri Experience (Bengaluru-Coimbatore), Coromandel Experience (Coimbatore-Chennai), Malabar Experience (Coimbatore-Kochi).
• First Defender Journey known as Konkan Experience will start from 16th January 2023. It will span between Goa and Bengaluru for over 7 days, to explore the towns along the Konkan coast and Western Ghats.
• Package cost for the Konkan Experience (6 night, 7 days) is ₹4,50,000 for two-adults (excluding 5% GST). It includes the use of Defender, accommodation, meals and experiences.
• Cougar Motorsport has been authorised to plan and execute the Land Rover Defender Journeys in India. A team of trained instructors will lead and guide every journey for a seamless and convenient experience.

The new Land Rover Defender Journeys will take place from June to August of 2023.

• The Ladakh Himalayan Experience is the first of the new routes on Defender Journeys, which offers an enthralling nine-day journey between Shimla and Leh to rediscover a land shrouded in mystery.
• The Zanskar Himalayan Experience is a captivating week-long voyage between Leh and Srinagar, exploring lush valleys, high mountains, and arid deserts of the Great Himalayas.
• The Spiti Himalayan Experience is an eight-day journey between Shimla and Kaza, exploring quaint passages through picture-perfect hamlets, awe-inspiring landscapes, age-old monasteries and scenic lakes.
