Land Cruiser Inspired 2012 Toyota Fortuner

Fortuner facelift expected to make an appearance at the IIMS in Indonesia next month. The cosmetic overhaul puts the Fortuner in line with the Land Cruiser Prado and Land Cruiser 200, the other two SUVs in its portfolio.
Changes are not expected under the Fortuner’s bonnet.

Its looking very much like the Prado now! I think the changes will be mainly on the inside , they might be adding some essential comfort and convenience features which the Fortuner currently lacks now.

i have only one request instead of making outside changes they should do changes inside . we want to feel like owning 25l car not 10L car when we sit inside it

I still like the current Fortuner!!! It has an amazing and aggressive road presence!!!

+1 to Dhaya. What is missing in Fortuner is the absence of interiors which look too boring for a 20lac+ car. I wish they bring in some major interior upgrade (though i doubt they will).

it looks a lot like LC now IMHO..front looks should be kept resembling to existing fortuner because it looks so much like raging bull!!

Personally speaking, I like the facelift of Fortuner. I accept, the current is no less than a head-tuner but the Landcruiser look alike design adds much more rich and sporty appeal. Looking forward for the release of this SUV in India soon.

The design is looking good, but imo Toyota should'nt have messed with looks of Fortuner. The current version looks fresh.

+1 to Akash , what the Fortuner requires is some basic features which are must in a car costing that price and better Interiors. The only reason i feel why people here are still going for the Fortuner is its massive road presence and Toyota reliability.

Finally, the photographs of un-camouflaged Land cruiser inspired Fortuner has leaked on the web. As we can observe, the changes are more or less cosmetic. No major feature additions are expected and Toyota is yet to decide when to roll out the new model in India.

The current model itself is doing so well in India even now! I wonder why Toyota wanted to give a facelift so soon!


Even i like the current model more.
