KTM has finally launched the much-awaited KTM RC 125 in India at ₹ 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The design has been inspired by the KTM RC16, which is the company's MotoGP machine. The RC 125 is a fully faired motorcycle which gets the company's steel trellis frame, upside down forks by WP and a triple clamp handlebar as well. It uses the same 124 cc single-cylinder engine which makes 14.3 bhp of max power and 12 Nm of peak torque and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Braking performance comes from a 300 mm disc up at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear. Like the KTM 125 Duke, the RC 125 too gets a Bosch single-channel ABS and rear-lift mitigation (RLM) as standard.
