Kia India recorded sales of 23,523 units in September 2024, marking over 17% YoY growth compared to the 20,022 units sold in September 2023.

• The Sonet continues as Kia's best-selling model, with 10,335 units sold, followed by the Seltos and Carens, with 6,959 and units 6,217 respectively.
• Kia India posted a healthy 66,553-unit sales in Q3 2024, marking almost 10% growth over the Q2 sales this year. Sonet contributed 45% followed by Seltos and Carens, with 28% and 27%, respectively.
• Kia's 'Make in India' products continue to attract strong global demand, with exports recorded at 2006 units.

Kia Corporation has developed the world’s first car accessory made from plastic extracted from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch (GPGP) by The Ocean Cleanup. More information is available at this link.

• The announcement of this accessory is a major milestone in Kia's long-term partnership with The Ocean Cleanup.
• As one of the most significant outcomes of the partnership so far, Kia will introduce a limited-edition trunk liner for the all-new Kia EV3 made using ocean plastic received from The Ocean Cleanup.
• The exclusive accessory will be available for EV3 in selected markets and available to order in line with the model’s market introduction.
• Taking inspiration from Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, the trunk liner’s ‘geometric wave’ top surface pattern is reminiscent of waves and the flow of trash into a collecting area.
• Made with 40% recycled ocean plastic, the trunk liner is just as durable, protective and functional as a conventional trunk liner. It features a QR code, which provides information about the product's development.
• Due to the unique qualities of the ocean plastic catch, the first phase involves sorting, recycling, and processing the plastic to meet Kia’s strict quality standards.
• Unlike ocean-bound plastic, the Ocean Cleanup's catch is exclusively composed of materials that were already in the ocean, making it more challenging to recycle.

Kia India delivered 28,545 units in October 2024, marking a 30% year-over-year growth compared to the 21,941 units delivered in October 2023.

• In October, 54 customers marked Diwali with the recently launched Kia Carnival Limousine Plus.
• Kia India dispatched 22,753 units in October 2024. Apart from the domestic market, the exports were recorded at 2,042 units.
