Kawasaki has hiked the price of its already pricey Ninja 500 for 2025, and the bike now costs Rs 5.29 lakh ex-showroom, India. The only change for 2025 is a refreshed paint scheme; mechanically, the Ninja 500 is the same.
For 2025, Kawasaki has given the Ninja 500 a refreshed paint scheme with the addition of a green accent on the fairing being the only visible difference. The Ninja 500 is the successor to the Ninja 400. The design is an evolution of the older bike and it shares its front-end with the updated Kawasaki line-up.
The price of the Ninja 500 has also risen by Rs 5,000, getting its effective price to Rs 5.29 lakh. This hike comes a couple of weeks after Kawasaki offered the Ninja 500 with a Rs 15,000 discount as part of its year-end discounts.
The Ninja 500 continues to be powered by the same 451cc, parallel-twin engine making 45hp and 42.6Nm, mated to a six speed gearbox with slip-assist clutch. This engine is already found on the Eliminator 500 cruiser as well as Kawasaki’s innovative Ninja 7 hybrid motorcycle.
The feature list for 2025 too, remains unchanged. The Ninja 500 is available in the standard variant in India and not the top-spec SE variant resulting in a basic feature list compared to its rivals. It has a negative LCD instrument cluster with bluetooth connectivity capable of displaying rider’s mobile notifications and a gear-position indicator. It gets LED headlights and dual channel ABS among other features.
The Updated Ninja 500 rivals the likes of the Aprilia RS 457 and the Yamaha YZF-R3.
All prices ex-showroom, India
