The Ninja 300 has been around for over a decade and was originally launched as a CBU for Rs 3.50 lakh. Fast forward a decade, and Kawasaki still sells the Ninja 300. However, now, it’s manufactured here and available for Rs 3.43 lakh.
There have been no mechanical changes in the past decade. The only major change has been the addition of ABS and new colours. Kawasaki continues the trend and has now introduced two more colours: Candy Lime Green and Metallic Moondust Grey.
The bike continues to be powered by a high-revving 296cc parallel-twin that produces 39hp at 11,000rpm and 26.1Nm at 11,000rpm. Its 780mm seat height makes it especially accommodating for shorter riders, and its 17-litre fuel tank means fewer stops at the fuel pump. It’s also worth mentioning that the Ninja 300 is the most affordable parallel-twin one can currently buy brand new.
