Jeep OR Gypsy for Off-Roading??

Thats true about the trademark,but it will never make people to call a mahindra anything else but a jeep.

Actually Chrysler slapped Mahindra for using Jeep label in their vehicle. If you remember correctly they used to Stamp Jeep on the front fender of 540.

After that they started naming Commander, Marshal.

Hence i go with 350Z. and hence my choice of Offroader is Gypsy. I wish it had a large v6 or something. and not a diesel one.

Yup, I remember it very well. I’ve in fact sat in one, years ago and can not forget the horrible bumping experience I had. By the way, No news about Gypsy's upgrade to BS 4? Is it still existing or company planning to shut its production?

Not yet! but things like gypsy will never cease production as long as Army etc uses them. even in Metros.

Though i dont have much knowledge about off-roading, I'll put my money on Jeep anyday. Its rugged, looks good and its a diesel. Gypsy doesnt have the charm like mahindra. Its thirsty petrol engine and harsh ride are a drawback. And also its styling is terrible and its dimensions are not to my likings.
