1.>Why change the stock tyres, As Jk lasts long.
Most tyres you get in Stock are Ceat or Jk's.

2.> Ice upgrade, raj is there for suggestions.

3.>Alloys gives a look, but the steering would be tight in the long run.

Exactly , i don feel any difference in my Verna its as good as stock ones.

Tyre upgrade i suggest you stay with the stock ones till they wear out and after they wear out switch over to alloys and also new tyres. But this will cost more.

ICE , create a separate thread mentioning your requirements and budget , Raj can help you out.

I'll definitely think on your suggestion regarding tyre upgrade.
For ICE thread, I have to wait till my car reaches me.

What should I do during this waiting period? I am just counting days, in this month 2-3 times I dreamt that I am driving my car :stupid:

You seem very excited Sandeep, and I understand. I had to wait for 3 days for my i10, and those 3 days were the strangest of my life.

Its exactly one month now for the booking, dealer says wait for another 3 months as the list is huge. How should I cope up with this waiting period?
*Shrugs* Maybe your stars want you to get the car registered as 2011, and take the delivery by New Year only. It is a quite long wait anyways, but the patience will definitely pay off.
Until I am preparing the upgrade list

1. Tyre upgrade to Michelin XM+ provided I get good value for stock tyres. (Is it really required?)
2. Change stock speakers (yet to decide the type and brand)
3. Alloys (definitely yes but after a while)

Waiting for more inputs from your side
Best idea is to create a new thread in relevant section on all your queries about accessorizing.

Yes Sandeep its better you get your car registered as 2011 as it slightly enhances the re-sale value!

I say be happy if you have to wait till January.

Well, keep visiting TAI.

And read books.
The best way to pass time.
About visiting TAI, I think that I will do regularly even after getting my car.

Makes sense. If I would be getting delivery after diwali, I'll definitely wait till new year.

1. What is the stock tyre size?
Stock JK tyre are pathetic. Change it as soon as you get the vehicle. Better visit some good tyre dealers and finalize a deal and go straight there after getting the delivery.
XM1+ is the best basic tyre, but as raj mentioned its bit soft and costly.
Best VFM tyre would be Apollo Acelere or Yoko A-Drive.

3. If budget allows, why not. Get the new OE steel rim get exchanged and buy some good alloys.

Stock tyre size is 155/65/14.

Wow, that's great. I'm really happy you're getting your car at last.
Pardon me, but I was never sure of what car you have right now?
