Interesting thing here is that VW and Ford are below FIAT and we always keep moaning about the brand image of FIAT.

Not one but too many surprises. Tata above Toyota, Mahindra above Honda and biggest one is Skoda above Fiat/Ford/VW.

Happy to see Indian firms making good progress.

I have voted Maruti, not because I own one, but to be very sincere, it is just a no nonsense car with reasonable budget pricing, less on pocket, more on FE and niggle free most of the time

Because I think this survey also looks into the masses of India where no body really buy Honda. In India Honda is just limited to petrol cars and also was costly to own one !!

Of course the present scenario is changing now

LOL,the voting pattern is similar to the Nielson 2012 survey results where Maruti is numero uno followed by a big T but surprise surprise it ain't Toyota but our humble TATA who is our favourite punching bag for making unreliable cars,poor A.S.S,poor marketing and what not!!

I would say Maruti is king in this,but i feel Toyota has earned alot of loyalty with its Innova customers.
Skoda sales mite have climbed with its Rapid(Vento twin),but i still hear there sales & service level is still not what one would even hope.
As for luxury brands,Mercedes Benz charges a bomb for everything compared to the other rivals,i feel like Mercedes makes 50% of its profits just servicing customer cars.
