Indian Motorcycle has unveiled the limited edition Roadmaster Elite, a custom-inspired, tri-tone motorcycle based on the Roadmaster platform. Limited to 350 units worldwide, the motorcycle features premium components, making it stand out in the large touring motorcycle segment.

Starting with the Roadmaster Elite’s design, the motorcycle features a tri-tone paint job, finished in what Indian calls Red Candy, Dark Indian Motorcycle Red Candy, and Black Candy. The Roadmaster Elite gets exclusive badges to make it stand out while retaining its familiar styling with a round headlight and wide fairing.

Adding to the style are smaller touches such as polished footrests, gloss black dash, colour-matched stitching on the seat, Tinted windscreen, and much more.

In terms of components, the Roadmaster Elite gets LED headlights, 10-spoke alloy wheels, heated and cooled seats, a 7-inch touchscreen display with a 12-speaker audio system, saddlebags, telescopic front forks, a monoshock at the rear, disc brakes at both ends, and more.

A motorcycle this large needs an equally capable motor and powering the new Roadmaster Elite is an 1890cc, air and oil-cooled V-Twin that makes 118bhp and 170Nm of torque with the help of a 6-speed gearbox.

Indian Roadmaster Elite launched at Rs 71.82 lakh

Indian Motorcycles has launched the limited edition Roadmaster Elite in India, priced at Rs 71.82 lakh, ex-showroom. The motorcycle will be limited to 350 units globally and will be interesting to see how many will be sold in the country.

The 2024 Indian Roadmaster Elite is finished in a tri-colour scheme, adorning a Candy Red colour, which pays homage to Indian motorcycles from 1904. Adding to the red theme is the gold lettering, giving it a contrasting finish.

In terms of features, the motorcycle comes loaded to the brim. The Roadmaster Elite gets heated and cooled seats and grips, LED cornering lights, a TFT dash with Apple CarPlay, and a 12-speaker audio system to name a few.

Power is derived from an 1800cc air-cooled V-Twin engine that makes 120bhp and 170Nm of peak torque with the help of a 6-speed gearbox. While the horsepower figures may seem low, the motor makes enough torque, much more than an average hatchback.
