Hi, I don't know anything about In-Car-Entertainment, so I need to know some things before I screw up the current ICE in my car.

So, I have currently the factory installed Head Unit and two front speakers.

The speakers sound dull. So I want to change them.

So I need advice here, If I change the speakers only, will I get better sound with the factory installed HU? Or I should Also buy new HU?

Currently I can only afford speakers, so what should I buy, speakers? Then Which one?

I don't want extra bass or anything equalized or loud, I just want the clear sound quality which I am not getting in the factory speakers( they are nippon brand).

So suggest me something.. Very Tight Budget, Could hardly afford a base JBL pair of co-axials.

As suggested, I am giving the info:

Car: Maruti Suzuki A-Star Vxi

> Budget Range: <4k

> Looking For (Full Setup, Head Unit etc.): Speakers, front, hu,

> Preferred Brands (If any): Pioneer, jbl, sony, etc

> Preferred Music Genre: Pop, Country, alternative

> Existing Audio Setup: Stock

Within your stringent budget of <4k, I would suggest you to get full range speakers by Polk Audio or Rockford Fosgate for the front. Leave the rear stock speakers as such (Otherwise you will need to invest some more money for rear speaker box setup etc.) and reduce the rear output levels in the HU settings. By doing so you can be future-proof, when you feel like upgrading your ICE further, you can shift these speakers to rear and add new front components, subwoofer and HU in a later date.
