Components are normal speaker with a specialized circuit to route specific frequencies to specific drivers. A typical component set has 2 mid-bass drivers, 2 tweeters and 2 crossovers. The crossover takes the signal from the HU (or the amp) and then route the lower frequencies to the mid-bass and the higher ones to the tweeters. This helps create a better sound stage. Also, for best sound reproduction the mid-bass and tweeter should be placed at an appropriate distance to each other, i.e., neither too close nor too far.

My suggestion would be to get 6" components for best sound up front. If 6" is not possible (without any mods) then go for 5.25".

go for components. the mid bass and voice will be more clear. JBL's will be good.

Thanks for the explanation buddy. You mean like this

If your budget for components is 6-6.5k you have many options available. I am personally using hertz components connected to a amplifier in my swift and they are really good.

Will one component speaker is enough for the car. I mean including front/Rear?
If yes then I can select a budget HU from pioneer or Sony.

What about this HU from pioneer http://www.pioneer-india.in/shop/mvh-159ui/
and remaining for speaker? I know its media HU but I can live on this.
I am getting 15% off on MRP from car modding store. [:D]

If you are OK with entry level budget HUs then I'd suggest you Pio 1490UB or JBL X333, paired with Morel components and JBL 6x9 in the rears.

Not sure what are you implying by "enough for both front/rear". If you mean sound output then yes, but if you are thinking that half set to be installed in front and half in rear then it's not that way buddy!!

Lets see will ask the dealer about the component speaker. Will ask for demo and then decide.
This HU from JBL is great, it has provision for SD also. As the CD is getting obsolete so getting media HU is better idea.

Components (set of 2) can be installed either in the front doors or the rear doors or both. Cannot put one in front and one in the rear. I haven't heard of anyone putting components in the rear, but should sound good.

Both are good HUs. As far as the aesthetics are concerned, X3590 looks better.

For speakers, its always better to go for Pioneer, Kenwood or JBL. IMHO, stay away from Sony.
