The sound of bass of subs is like - Boom Bom Boom and of bass tubes is bhooom bhooom (Slightly less sound than sub).

Hi,
nice ICE you got.

i suggest you to get a good speaker sets for front and rear.
The oem speakers does not have distortion but are not good at clarity too.
Try for rockford , helix , polk or infinity speakers. They are good replacements.

I hope with the basstube , you got what you needed.
personally i dont like basstubes. Woofers with custom made box sounds better and louder.
anyways basstubes are better when you dont have idea about making proper subboxes.

We had lot of discussion about verna fluidic ICE upgrade here and many of them got good ICE upgrade in their car. you may find good info for any future upgrade there.

JBL Basspro12 will perform good ,but i dont know how powerful it is as its only 150 rms. for hatchback it can be good enough if you dont want very loud bass.

Or should I buy a Sub (12") with 2ch Amp?
Which package would cost less?

PS- The Sub and Amp job will be done after May-June only. I am not in a hurry.

Amp is not for subs ONLY. You can have a decent bass by opting a nice pair or components for front and 9x6 coaxials ate rear and connect to them a decent 4ch amp.

But a mono amp costs Rs.8000+.
2 ch costs Rs.4500+
4 Ch costs Rs.9000+

Many awesome 4ch amps can be had for a lot less, for eg. kenny 846 goes for around 6K with bill and warranty.

if you can get monoamp for 8k then you can try for some good sub like infinity 1260w , or rockford prime or kicker comp .... they are more powerful then this basspro according to their rms stats. Will cost less then 6k
You need 300 rms amp to run it.
1.5k you will get good box.
I prefer ported box made according to the manual of the sub. to get best out of sub.
The small boxes these dealers used to provide are not good

you are spending more money so go for good brand.

LG is new to ICE , so no idea
