Thanks K!INkY for your reply....I also thought so about the TD avg.. I have been reading a lot of awesome reviews here, and i found all Ertiga owners much satisfied with the overall average of the car ( in fact i read in one post that Ertiga gave 22.4 KMPL on a long trip..awesome, isnt it [clap]

Regarding the ICE, I would want to have following in my car:

1) CD(preferably DVD player as well, not sure if built in ICE in ZDI player DVD too) Player with remote
2) AUX In with 3.5 mm jack
3) USB support (some ICE have SD card support as well)
4) Bluetooth (very handy sometimes)
5) Reverse parking sensor
6) Navigator

I can also keep the built in ICE, if I can have another features mentioned above along with it.

Please suggest if this is achievable. if not, then what is the best option, shall i but singe HU with all these features or shall I opt for independent systems like ICE/ReverseParking sensors with camera/Navigator..all separate.

Thanks
Mohit

Mohit I would suggest not to go for costly ICE and ICE with navigation is distracter I use a touchscreen Dvd player with all features you listed except NAV it does have that option but did not buy it. Indian roads route keep changing and you might find tough to update your ICE NAV regularly unless you have wifi in your ICE. I use my mobile for NAV just kept in my sight with a mobile holder. See photos in above posts. My ICE cost me 11k.

Can you tell me which ICE you are using,if it has all the features except navigator, I would still be ok, as I am using maps on my iphone now a days, and it seems to work most of the times.

Did you buy your ICE online(link please) or from a shop(please tell me the model number)?

Is your ICE having reverse parking sensors with camera?

Mohit my ICE has a NAV sd card slot. A software is needed for it. I am using a reverse cam but not sure about sensors. I bought it here in Chennai.

Can you check what are the options available in the HU except audio?

@ CMS

Are you referring to the build in audio system that comes with Ertiga ZDI?
I believe it has only audio with USB/Aux in. It doesn't have bluetooth/navigation/reverse parking camera for sure. not sure about the video (DVD/VCD) support.

I have recently bought a New Ertiga ZDI Dusky Brown,Feliz edition ,but am highly disappointed with the primitive integrated music system Maruti Suzuki is providing in today's world.I have been following many reviews and am highly confused which system to go for the upgrade which fits in socket to socket, does not involve any wire cutting (and thereby Car warranty). My requirements: DVD player, touch screen ,USB port,Bluetooth connectivity and calling ,GPS Navigation ( with good Indian Maps),Rear Camera , rear seat entertainment connectivity ,and if possible internet connectivity
I have heard about the following few systems:

1) Motevo System: It has all the features as per requirement except internet connectivity. But seen few you tube reviews.Seems that the touch screen is not so responsive and quality seems crude.Plus point is It fits is quite impressively on dash as if it is OEM sytem.Again service backup is doubtful.
2) Caska: Not has much information
3) Witson: Again a Chinese product-Doubtful quality and after sale service
4) Blaupunkt : Model New York 830: All requirements fulfilled except internet connectivity. Seems to be a quality product,a bit costly ( quoted price of HU is 39000) , has good warranty and after sales support, german technology.Negative point: will require panel as it is an universal system and not specifically made for Ertiga
5) Some Chinese Android version are available :fulfilling all requirements, even internet connectivity by 3G,Wifi,etc.Again no reputed brand, No after sale support in India.
7) Sony XAV-701 BT: It is quite innovative.Has DVD player, and can be connected to android Sony Xperia and few compatible Samsung handsets There is a patented technology"Mirrorlink" in which case the same screen of the smart phone is visible on the screen and also can be operated from there itself.o one can use the smartphone Navigation itself (like Google maps) on the larger screen, can play music or videos from the smart phone etc. Cost approc 30k.
8) Also the MMI On dash system meant for New Swift/Ertiga: Doubtful quality and after sale service.Read few very bad reviews on mouthmyshut.com.Cost approx 40 k. Too expensive being a chinese product.MMI I think keeps huge margin

Any expert opinion???

Dear vu2gate,
when you installed non mga accessory does it voids warranty.? have you seen how they installed the system? Does they cut any wires during the installation? Is the model number is W2-D9653X ? where did you install the system? Thanks in advance...[;)]
