ICE For Mahindra Scorpio within Rs.15K

Need some inputs regarding some what type of configuration i need to install in a limited budget of 15k.

Car :M &M scorpio SLE 7STR

BUDGET :15K max

components : HU Pio 3490? (decent alternatives in its price range)

front door speakers : 2 Way or 3 way component speakers

brand and make? (currently seeing auditor or kicker)
something better in its price range

rear speakers :feel ideal position behind the middle row should do (avoid cutting in the middle row door)
oval speakers : brand?

Do i need to get an amp ?
Is it compatible for future updates? A sub, damping to be done later.

In 15k, do the following -

1) Change the head unit to Pioneer - 7k
2) Change front speakers to 2 way components (JBL/Auditor/Kicker) - 4k
3) Buy JBL/Powerbass 4ch amp - 4k
4) Wiring + Fuse + Labour - 1.5k

On second upgrade -
1) Rear co-axials on boot door - 4k
2) Kicker/Ground Zero/JBL sub - 5k
Connect 2 ch of amp for front speakers & bridge 2 ch for sub.

I would advise you to install the speakers on rear door panel instead of boot door. I have done it in my Scorpio & you can see the pics in my thread here.

I am also from Mumbai & I have done the install from Ramie.

Prices i got so far from local dealers.
Pio 3490 :5.8k
auditor 2 way ~3k.
3 way ~ 4.5k

local dealers suggest to get oval speakers installed on an MDF Box behind the second row seats.
What am i missing here?
And in amp what wattage are we speaking of?

The second option seems to be better except that for front, go for comps.

Please mention some alternatives in comps .
Also he said auditor are on the verge of discontinuation so support later on might be a problem.

another option suggested to me was for soundstream comps but was told that to notice the difference between the comps and 3-way co axials one would need An amp which would increase the price to about 22k.

Who is your installer? Are you going to a professional installer? Where are you put up in Mumbai?

Rest assured, Ramie would give you a better & sound advice. You visited his place? How was your experience?

Tell him your budget is strictly 15k & ask for the best config possible.

Then if you want, do the rest of the upgrades in stages.

He is right that you need an amp for comps.

he suggested me a powerbass comp which he says can be used with a pio HU .

planning to get it done tomorrow hopefully.

Btw you guys are lucky to get an ICE installation within 20 k in Mumbai.

I paid 9000 for 2 pair of Hertz comps.

In Bangalore you need a minimum of 30k budget to get good ICE.

Will be looking forward to your ICE experience after installation.
