I don't see how USB to AUX will work.
USB i digital. AUX is an analog singnal. You could blow up the device or your mobile or both!

A better option is to look for one of these Multi functional FM transmitter cum BT Cum everything-
Wireless Car FM Radio Transmitter Audio USB SD Card Slot Kit MP3 Player + Remote | eBay

Bluetooth car charger-Hands Free-Car MP3 Player-FM Transmitter-Dual USB Charger | eBay

CARG7 LCD Bluetooth Car Charger FM Kit MP3 Transmitter USB Handsfree Mobile | eBay
okay, i didnt know about that part. will drop the idea of using aux, as it is i have bluetooth, android auto and usb to use.

all those options have 1 imp thing (atleast for me) missing, android auto!!

Hi Swadesh,
i installed poineer comp speakers 6.5 inch in front doors and jbl 300w 6.5 inch speakers in rear doors with sony 4 channel amp. This is good setup with stock HU. Total cost 12k

Speakers 4500 plus 3000 amp 5000 wiring and labor

My recommendation is change the HU to poineer avh 2890 and the above speakers will do the good job.

Dear All,

It's time for me to change the tyres of my Xcent SX(o) as the stock tyres are worn out after covering 43K KMs. Tyre size of SX is 175/60 R15. I want to buy Michelin or Yokohomo. But they don't carry this size. Only option i have is to upgrade the tyres to 185 or 195/55 R15. Anybody has done this upgrade?

Are you sure you want a slimmer Tyre ? Don't have much idea about Tyres but, thinner Tyres will affect the handling(reduced Grip, more stopping distance, etc.
There is 185/60R15 also from Yokohama.

By the Way, aren't Tyres supposed to be fine till 60K Kms? Are you planning to replace the Spare also ?

Swadesh,
His Stock tyres are 175, so 185 or 195 are not SLIMMER. they are WIDER. The second number is called Profile and is expressed as a percentage.

1. [surprise] 5000 for Wiring & Labor ? Isn't that too much. I thought it would cost around 1000/- ! .
2. Can you tell me which AMP/Speakers? Model name, so that I can check here in NCR for the same. I guess 12 K doesn't sounds too much to improve the Music system. My Budget was around 8K, but moving to 12 with Amp, should not be much, may be I can negotiate on Wire/Labor in Noida.

3. Doesn't Amps require extra power to be taken from Battery? I mean is there any wire Cut is required to fix Amps ? For speakers I know can be fixed on same spots without any wire cuts.

Thanks for the pointer. Seems like Yoko is having 185/60 R15 in earth 1 series which i missed to notice. whether 185/60 won't scrap? That was one of the reason made me to think about 195/55.

I know 43k is bit early for the change. But the OEM bridgestone has lost good amount of thread + lot of tyre noise.
I am not planning to change the spare.

I don't have good opinion with bridgestone as I see lot of punctures and tyre noise with the stock tyres. Any better model available with Bridgestone? My priority is comfort and less tyre noise. I love to have Michelin as I had good experience with it in my old car. But they don't have the size matching Xcent.

I've had dreadful experiences with Michelins. Too soft. More Punctures. Uneven wear and what not. Threw em at 40k.
Decent experiences (In that order) for Yokohama (Geolander or Earth 1), Bridgestones, Goodyear, JK, Ceat.

P.S- I do not have any idea on Xcent specific tyres.

Thank you guys for the suggestions. My problem is that I have 15" rims and so I should be careful with the upgrades as there is a risk of scraping the side walls. Most probably I may go for Yoko 185/60 R15. Will update once i change my tyres.
