Met a accident today. Should i claim insurance and lose NCB and resale or fix outside. Front light costs 2300 approx . Can the bumper and side panel be fixed cheap outside ?
My car 10 month old and has comprehensive insurance only.

If you go for insurance they will replace the bumper , headlight and the fender.

Headlight and bumper - 50% you will have to pay. My estimate - 2k

Fender - 10% you will have to pay.

Labor - free
Paint - don't know about this. Buy you will have to pay some charges.
Claim charges - should be 1000rs.

Get an estimate from hass.

Outside you will have to shell out 2400 for headlight
1500rs for fender repair and paint
1200 for front bumper and 1500rs for paint.

If you had zero depreciation you would have paid only 1000rs. I hope your creta has zero dep. If not get it now.

thanks for the suggestion, i will take it on monday to get surveyed and get a exact estimate but insurance seems the way to go, will lose NCB next month :(

Yes creta does have zero dep and i too will get that next month on renewal.

Why waste your NCB, get it done from market, loosing NCB will cost more in longer run. U can get the Bumper to bumper next year, to cover these expenses if they occur again.

Oh! Not going to purchase it now, but planning to get one soon. I heard nothing but praise about this particular brand and thought my Xcent can use little help from this product. Atleast I don't have to be too careful while going over speed breakers!

Tried it once. Works ok on shallow scratches (clearcoat damage only) or paint transfer, but I always get better results with rubbing compound and/or wax.

I recently got a WAX cleaner polish which removes scratches from a petrol bunk. To my surprise it cleared most of the tiny scratches and one major scratch which I had in front bumper. He wasn't available the next day. The only information which I have is Jayam Enterprise

Got Extended Warranty for 3 & 4th year for Rs.7117(with 20% discount in Free car clinic offer)

Ac gas refilled in the camp freely. Now am ac cooing is ok. Advisor told sunfilms needs to be changed to grey color for best cooling.
