The car is very fuel sensitive means when i fill HP diesel, the FE drops by 1 or 2 KM. But when i fill Indian Oil it give better FE. Why this happens dont know.

sandy even i agree the car is fuel sensitive, for me hp, indian oil and reliance give fes less by 2-4km/l only bp and shell give good heck when i fill regular gasoline from these two pumps as well fe goes down by 1-2km/l with speed/ super unleaded its the best with speed 97 being even better and costlier.

id really wanna know what methods and fuel hyundai used while claiming the fe, I'm hearing lots of folks mostly from the petrol stable furious about the fe, and hyundai isn't doing anything recently found out even the previous petrol vernas gave bad fes.

They must have imported the petrol from korea and tested it in India. I cant understand what is the difference between HP fuel and BP fuel.

well my comparison would be dumb but anyways just in general, filled fuel at 11421 last night, odo is at 11485 now not a single bar has dropped. But 30km for the second bar to drop seems good mine takes 35-40. wait till the tanks empty thats all i can say for now.

sandy even I'm clueless why does it demand so much? i can understand if the pump is some small one on the highway, my aveo gives the same fe on all pumps though on certain small pumps on the highway it goes down.

as far as i know only the diesel engines are imported from korea. This low fe thing has been on the previous vernas as i found out recently, this is one thing where hyundai can pass it of saying it varies on driving style.

the car looks sweet petrol specs seem amazing on paper but quality is questionable as well as fe. wondering how the faux wood panels would look on the elantras interiors. These silver panels can get faded of over time. Theres no auto dimming mirror i suppose if this interior picture is of the top of line elantra.
anyways whats the fe update on your car any improvements or dips? Has it started raining out there?
