How come this be possible, i visited Grand Cheetal (Khatauli) in Jan'2012 first week at that time it was open, to visit Grand Cheetal you have leave the main expressway road and drive for 3-4 Km (approx) on older road, it was still there. When did you last visited that place?

As much I remember only the road is in broken condition,but Cheetal is still working.Also now there is very less crowd there.
Now a days my new stop is that the McDonalds or Moolchand near Mansoorpur(Muzaffarnagar).

I found that route little deserted compared to main route.

So you have driven on that road too?Great.I take that road only and drive upto 100-120 kph with A/C off(there is fantastic breeze blowing all time)there as its almost empty.
Also that is Haridwar,not Meerut or Muzaffarnagar.Hence there is no fear of loot and kill incidents on deserted highways which are common here.
