Are those rain guards on the windows of any use? Can you really drive in the rain with the windows open with them attached?
Don't get them, they spoil the looks of car.

In a list, some things have to follow some others. It’s not so much that handling is a low priority for me, it’s just that a lengthy equipment list and ease of city driving and seating comfort are higher on the list. ASS is low on the list of priorities because I live in West Bengal and good customer service is non-existent in this state.
Alright.

No, I did not like the Scala. I didn’t say that I did. I hate platform-sharing.
Ohh sorry for that. I confused it with fluence.

No, the interiors look ugly and the overall impressions simply weren’t that great. The Verna was better in nearly every department.
I have heard good reviews about the ride and handling of rapid and I can vouch for it owning a similar kind of car. Nevertheless, opinions are respected.

Cummon man!

The whole package: entering the car without taking the key out of the pocket, starting it with the start/stop button and locking it after exiting without using the key.
I guess only verna has this feature in this price range.

Anyways, congrats for the car. Keep us updated and shoot some pics too.

Thanks. I bought Jopasu’s duster and microfibre cloth and some 3D Kagu mats. Not getting the rain guard and car cover after all. I’ll be fitting the scuff plates today as well.

Now the only thing that remains is the seat cover. I really cannot decide here. I don’t want to cover those plush leather seats with fabric upholstery, and I don’t want to spend Rs. 18,000 for the leather ones. Which seat cover do you have, and how much did it cost you? Plus, will the side airbags work if I cover up the seats?

That hideous thing will be plastered on both sides of my car forever. It’s a big deal for me. [:P]

Anyways, congrats for the car. Keep us updated and shoot some pics too.
Thank you. I intend to, but it’s hard to find time to do it. I will put them up as soon as I can.

like i said , any normal seat cover guy won't be able to work with seats having air bags. i forgot to mention before , get dry cleaning done every year at the hyundai service center. they will remove all the dirt from the leathers as well as all the interiors.

well yes you cannot do anything. and don't worry n dry cleaning ( proper ) it'll become as new.

check this. after a year or 2 your leather seats will become like this ( left side ) and after having good leather products | dry cleaning they will become as new. they used meguair's product which you can easily source from ebay.
