yes its there in mine no sound just gear vibrates if my hand is on it can feel it.

cause the noise i get is similar when i accelerate from there grrrrr then grunting then don't know when its at 120. I hope you keep a check of all fluids in your car, engine oil brake oil coolant.

its just 2 months :P what would have happen to any of the fluids. but ok i will check all the levels of all the fluids,

its good to keep a check every week or twice a month. Just like how you wax your car.
In a new car mostly coolant level drops down and engine oil also, hence.

when my car was new i kept a check of all fluids, by the time i reached 1500 in a month i saw coolant level was at minimum, they topped up and found a leak in a rubber hose and replaced it. by the time i reached 5000km i was noticing oil becoming black and fe going down terribly and then by 5000km oil was below max marker by an inch.
now I'm done 3500km since oil change oil is still golden brown and just needed 50ml top up.

so i checked today , even in 5th gear when i accelerated , the accelerator pedal vibrated but as i continue to accelerate , the vibration was gone.

have your dad drive the car and see if he feels the same, is the vibration a lot or just minimal which is ok at times.
