How to Start a Petrol Engine?!

What do you mean by Engine reduces a bit? Sorry Didn't get it through. My bad !!!

I was talking about engine RPM. On attaining optimum temperature the RPM shown by tachometer reduces.

I start my car sometimes normal, sometimes its on gear so I press the clutch while starting it :D

don't know if its correct to do so but didnt face any problem till date

Pressing clutch while starting will not create a problem for the engine ,but will reduce clutch life.

I recently had the clutch replaced as it was getting tighter while driving the car upto 10-15kms

I have a habit of keeping my Car in 1st gear and hence always press the clutch pedal before starting the Engine.
While trying my friend's Ecosport equipped with engine start/stop button, the engine doesn't start if the button only is pressed(all acc are getting on though) and the engine can be started only with the clutch pedal depressed.
