I am a 1986 model. Have run reliably for 27 years, except -

1) Headlights blurred about 6-7 years ago, added projectors on stock bulbs
2) Had a punctured rear right tyre (fractured right leg) some years ago
3) These days, the body has put on excessive weight. Some effort is required to make it nimble as before, in interests of better performance and efficiency.

Am on the way sir, 1970 Model. (myself and Indian share same day as b'day, do not know year. but he also comes into the same category where I am in)

• With headlights upgraded
• very sweet (hope you would have understood)
• some teething problems
• Few dents and stitches in above right headlight (right eye brow)
• Few dents and stitches in front bumper bottom (Chin)
• Twice slight dent in left right fender (fracture in left arm)

That is it. Love to thank god for such a wonderful life till date.

Well these are characteristics of these vehicles, as the vehicle gets older, the niggles like headlights issues, engine issues, fuel flow rate (B.P), blockages in tubes are bound to happen.

To add to this we tend to abuse it more with mixing unwanted additives and giving it smoke treatment.

Ha Ha. Luckily not much of Addtives. May be once or twice in a year. But lots and lots of smoke treatment in the past (say from 1990). Now reduced a lot. 2 treatments perday

That is either my mistake or a prank.

IR drives his own car, so I am sure he is not "12 or below"!

73. No modifications. No visits to the service centre other that routine check ups.

1968 registration. except for a minor denting work on the intake system ( nasal surgery ) and tinkering in the fuel line ( appendicectomy ) no other issues till date.

I hope you're not planning a sports exhaust
