Exide i don know about cars , but i had it in my Saffire and it came good for nearly 5 years with nil maintenance! The only thing i had to do was to maintain the water levels!!
In our omni , we put amaron , nil maintanance.
it was with us for 4 years. Even after selling that , omni comes to service at garage. still the amaron is doing the duty fine. so its in service for 6 years
Hey guys just one doubt! Do we need to check the fluid level in the batteries of cars just like in bikes?? If so what is the interval in which we should check?
our m800 (purchased in june 2001) battery lasted till oct 2005 - i.e more than 4 years - and it wasn't maintenance free. changed to another battery(exide) and in april 2007 we sold the car and till that time no problem.
our wagonr (got in 2007 april) is in 4th year and the sealed amaron battery is still holding fine.
the bike karizma R is in 2nd year and battery is again good fires in single self.
[i always fill water every 2 month]
if ur battery is not maintenance free one then make sure u personally check the water level, never rely on SVC people/
