The Pattern looks good in ANHC & in your Elite too. I think you chosen some strong beige instead of subtle. IMO, subtle beige (like ANHC) may look good. BTW, as your car is red, why don't you with black & red combination? I have seen most of the people go for black & red combo irrespective of car colour.

Reason for strong beige is kids often spoil light interiors. i have seen it in lot many cars. So I went with a darker shade. Black heats up too much in summers and moreover it makes the car look dark. I wanted an airy and spacious feel inside car, so I thought it's best with beige shades.

What is the iMount's holding capability on famous pothole roads? Don't want the phone to fall down on potholed roads.

This mount is pretty solid. Holds my Note 4 weighing 176gm + a Verus hardened cover with another 25-30gm. Phone hasn't fallen anyday and holds firm with magnetic iMount. Do check out reviews on amazon link and check out videos on youtube too. Someone had done a road pothole test too on this iMount.

Indeed, there is only one lamp on lower right side. I too fail to understand the logic, but oh well many european cars too have it just on one side. Visibility is slightly reduced because of one less lamp, but camera does the job very well and you won't have to turn your neck around.

Reverse camera is highly accurate as you told, its truly a semi sedan or premium hatchback.
For this price great ride.

I am getting mine today, so just wanted to ask how are the seat covers in terms of comfort & support. Are they perforated ? Also do they breathe, because i dont want my back to be wet due to heat. Apart from Seat Covers & 3D Mats i havent planned for anything else.

Hi Nishant,

The seat covers are excellent in terms of material and quality. My installer did a shoddy job and didn't execute it well but that's different story. And no, they are not perforated.
Summers haven't arrived yet, so I cannot make any comment on how wet it gets or not.

1 tip of advice is to avoid 3D Mats. They slip !!! Whether your foot is wet or not, they tend to slip. Get some normal mats or 3M Nomad Mats just like I have in my car. They are custom cut in sizes and it costs me about Rs. 4800 for these from 3M Gurgaon.

Hi Dhruv,

No I haven't gone with black treatment on roof yet. If you are willing for paint protection from 3M go for front bumpers, side fenders, side lowers below moulding and full rear bumper. This would set you back by approx Rs. 35000 as already quoted to me by 3M Gurgaon.

For underbody protection, go with 5 years anti-corrosion treatment offered by 3M. It also comes with sound deadning additives and the car performs really well. Sorry no idea about annual packages!

That would be overkill as the difference in circumference would be 95.82 mm / 4.91% and I don't think it's the right size upgrade though max is 225/50/16, and the best would be 215/50/16 I think you should go for the 215 profile!

The dash and door trims changed to match the seats!

The interiors look awesome. How did you manage to get the dash and trims replaced? (or is it paint/coating?). Also, how much was the cost for this work (may be a break-up would help better).

Nope, no issues at all everything is fine with red paint.

FYI. this did happen with initial batch of red Elites that were sent out from Chennai Plant, but cars manufactured after 8th September are all fine. Dealers were notified about red paint issues arising from initial batch and were encouraged to hold stocks in their yards for Quality checks.

You should be all good if you plan to buy a red Elite now :)

Planning to go for red Elite. I have beige 1st gen I20. No colour issue post 6 years. Hoping same on elite.

Hello guys! I'm sorry to revive this old thread but I just booked an elite i20 asta and was looking to install a webasto sunroof here in Chennai. I was looking through photos on their facebook page and came across this beautiful i20:

I was quite intrigued by the brown leather seats and matching dash and door colours. So I decided to try my luck and do a google image search and that led me to this thread.

So Fabin seems to have last logged in on January. I suspect his account has been deserted. Does anyone know how he got the seats and dash done? Did he install aftermarket seats? Any help would be greatly appreciated..
