Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today launched the 2023 Honda Hornet 2.0, which is now OBD2-compliant. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
Apart from the OBD2-compliant engine, the 2023 Hornet 2.0 gets a new assist and slipper clutch and fresh graphics.
The 184.40cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, OBD2-compliant, PGM-FI engine of the 2023 Honda Hornet 2.0 develops 17.3PS of maximum power and 15.9Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
The 2023 Hornet 2.0 continues to use a diamond frame with a USD front fork and a monoshock at the rear. The 17-inch 10-spoke alloys are shod with tubeless tyres. There is a 276mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear. Also available is a single-channel ABS.
Among the top features of the 2023 Honda Hornet 2.0 are an all-LED lighting system (LED headlamp, LED winkers and X-shaped LED taillamp), fully digital liquid-crystal instrument panel, split seat and short muffler.
The motorcycle is available in four colour options -- Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.
HMSI is offering a 10-year warranty on the 2023 Hornet 2.0. This includes a three-year standard warranty and a seven-year optional warranty.
