Upcoming Honda car spotted testing for the first time!!
Honda Car India has confirmed the launch of the next-generation Amaze on December 4, 2024. The new model is expected to feature significant changes to both the exterior and interior, and the brand has released sketches showcasing its design. Despite the upcoming launch date, there are currently no spy shots available online that display the new car’s design.
The new model was spotted during late-night testing within the city. Finished in a distinct shade of Obsidian Blue, the new pictures reveal the exterior design of the model. Up front, the new model features a distinct LED headlamp with DRL and a large hexagonal grille. While the bumper is not visible, we can see the new LED foglamp unit along with the large air dam at the bottom. On top, the bonnet features twin power bulges similar to the Elevates design.
Moving to the sides, the new Amaze continues to feature the same silhouette as the outgoing model but features a new multi-spoke design for the 15-inch alloy wheel. At the rear, the short boot lid is all-new and features an LED taillamp unit inspired by the Honda City.
The new Amaze features minimal chrome on the exterior, enhancing the sedan’s premium appeal. Overall, the design appears more mature and gives the car a larger presence.
Although the spy shots only show the exterior, Honda has teased the interior of the new model. According to the design sketch, the sedan will adopt the overall dashboard layout from the new Honda Elevate and share equipment with the City. Key features will include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, semi-leatherette beige upholstery, semi-digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, a wireless charger, an electric sunroof, a new three-spoke steering wheel, and more.
The teaser also reveals that the new model could come with ADAS (camera-based) on the top-spec ZX variant.
