Honda Activa 6G (2020)

In an official video teaser, Honda has revealed the launch date of the Activa 6G. To be launched on 15th Jan 2020, the Honda Activa 6G will replace the current Activa 5G BS4.

The official mail from Honda 2 Wheelers India says – “Greetings and New Year Wishes from Honda 2Wheelers India. Get ready to venture into a game changing year. The game begins on 15th January 2020! After all, what’s 2020 without a 6?” Watch the teaser video below.

Apart from offering improved connectivity, Honda may equip Activa 6G with other new features such as 12-inch alloy wheels, telescopic forks and the option of disc brakes. Engine is expected to be the same one currently being used, but it will be upgraded to meet BS-VI fuel emission norms, which come into effect from April 1, 2020.

Activa 6G with 12" Alloy wheels & telescopic front forks (which the competition viz Wego & Jupiter have from day 1, year 2012/13).

Maybe by the time Honda brings out the 10G iteration of Activa it will have both sides 12" wheels

Honda Activa 6g: TVC details 6 BIG changes

The video uploaded above is the official TV commercial for the new updated Activa scooter. The first feature of the Activa 6G shown in the video is the silent start technology. With the new Activa you get an ACG starter motor that removes gear meshing, gear engagement noises of the scooter. Next is the the Telescopic suspension. The 6G version of the Activa now comes with Telescopic suspension that improves the ride quality of the scooter and the other change is the front wheel which is now 12 inch in size.

Hello happy people! I am posting a serious warning related to activa 6g built quality and perfomance. This 2 wheeler will break down quite often than ever and trust me their prices have spiked and customer complaint mechanism is a total failure. I have a complaint open from 7 working days and still they only tell to wait for further investigation. Major quality alert guys.
