HM Ambassador Mark II - Due For Restoration. Need Suggestions

I would like to know approximately how much is it going to cost me for tinkering and painting( including running board replacement). Because I have heard different quotes from different painters and tinkers.

Where do you stay classicar ? if it requires will show you the painter's place

Paint wont cost as much as it seems, its better you get your car itself for the quote
Besides you can ask in two to three places as well,then you'll get the idea of how much it will cost

PS - i got my car painted from him only and introduced a lot of people to him thereafter. He has never dissapointed me anytime

Restoration of Mark II Ambassador

Have you sourced the shade and other parts which you needed. I am also restoring a Mark II amabassador which was unfortunately converted to a mark IV during its life. I have bought most of the parts - some at very high prices. The shade was available and I managed to find 2pcs. Do let me know if you need one - I bought it for I havent got the headlight rims as yet.Rs.4500/each and can part with one. It has the chrome runner as well. The smiths meters and OE steering wheel are available with a dealer - very expensive though.

Anyone! Do let me know if you know where to find the OE back tail-lamps and headlight shades.

I will post before and after pics once I am done.

Are the smith meters and original steering wheel brand new?
