Maruti 800 (2002)- 25915 km. (Now sold)
Maruti Alto LX (2004)- 77623 km. (Now sold)
Maruti Ritz ZXI (2010)- 20230 km. (still counting).

Thanks Varun560061. The engine is overhauled once when the car crossed 2,00.000 km.
And now we are planning for a complete rebuild of the car so it will again get a engine overhaul.

You had done 78500 Km in 2 years with your Laura TSI Petrol.You could had bought Diesel Car instead of this.You had done more running more than my Swift,which had done 73,000 Km in 2.8 Years.

Buddy actually at the time the car was bought we had a diesel car 'Innova' and then we bought 'Corolla' too but the Laura's ride always impressed my father and same was with the silence of the petrol motor.
In the early days the car wasn't used more, but slowly the car was 100% in my father's hand and then it started running around for the work and all.
My father is very happy with the comfort it offers and chauffy also finds it very very comfortable to drive and hence at the end..despite of the running costs, we have no issues in using this car extensively.

What is your daily run bro?

Daily running is like 0 kms for a week and suddenly 1000 kms on 8th day, so I can't say exact figures but net running per year goes around 45-50k easily.

"Low mileage car thread "how low is your car usage

I have created this thread for all those automotive indians whose car usage is relatively less like mine as my wagon r has just clocked few thousand km since long .
There are many reason behind it.
1- Small city not much places to drive around.
2- Lots of traffic jams made me reluctant to take car out i choose a two wheeler instead of car most of time .

My uncles 2009 i10 is a worthy contender for this low milage car thread. It run only 15K km till now and the 4k km run is only in this year. Since his home is on the very congested road it is very difficult to take out the car to road itself and as far as i know they had spent more money to paint the car than petrol and other maintenance.

Our Vento has done 53000 Km in 2.5 years and 40,000 Km done by us in 1.5 years.

Our previous Innova has completed 3L Km in 9 years.

Reviving this thread after more than year.Our Vento TDI has run 84500 Kms in 3.8 years and we did 71000 Kms in 2.10 years.That includes a trip to Maharastra,two trips to Andhra and 300-400 Kms within Telangana.In 2015,we did about 24000 Kms,which is ok and not par to our usual 30000 Kms per annum.2015 is a poor year for Vento because it had met with accidents for two times.

Our Swift VDI,which is used by my brother,has run more than 63000 Kms in 4.5 years.It is one of the last vehicle of last gen Swift.

Nice thread Music_Swift. Here goes my list.

First, previously owned cars :

1. 2004 Maruti 800 - 75k kms (Sold in 2009)
2. 2009 Alto - 40k kms (Sold in 2013)
3. 2008 WagonR - 80k kms (Sold in 2014, bought in 2011 at 30k)

And if 2 wheelers are also allowed :
1. 2008 Eterno - 80k kms (Sold in 2013)
2. 2009 Pylsar 150 - 40k kms (Sold in 2013, bought in 2011 at 20k)

Currently, we are having 3 cars and the fourth one, Baleno will be joining this month.

1. Nov 2012 Dzire - 76k kms in 3Y1M
This one is used mainly for office commute by my brother. No long drives done yet. Been to Haldwani (Uttarakhand) and Chandigarh around 6 and 3 times respectively.

2. Aug 2014 Etios - 24k kms in 1Y4M
This one is used for office commute by my father, and also used for some short trips to Mathura, Vrindavan, Agra, Chandigarh and Noida many times.

3. 2009 Swift 1.3 - 38k kms - 8k kms in 5M (bought in Aug 2015 at 30k kms)
This one is used for college commute and I have been to Agra, Bharatpur and Haldwani once in this car. Lack of space has been one main reason to avoid it for 200+ km journeys, and add to that the fantastic mileage!

And,forgot to post,our 2012 Suzuki Access 125 has run 10k Kms in 4 years.It will complete 4 on Jan 4th 2016.

Btw,my friends 2014 Honda Dio has run much higher than our Access.One has run 28000 Kms in 1.5 years(he bought it in June 2014 in Red) and one is nearing to 20K Kms(he bought it in end Nov 2014 in White).

MY Tata Sierra 1997 model Kms Run 2,34,897 as on date. Stock Engine Sealed.
Tata Nano LX 2011 model kms run 20,467 kms as on date. used by my DAD
Tata Nano Cx 2012 model kms run 23,854 kms as on date used by my Sis
RE classic 350 2011 model kms run as on date 25,962 my daily commute after Sierra.
Mahindra Duro 2012 model kms as on date 24,122 used by dad for household small purchases and in city travel.
Hero Pleasure 2009 model kms as on date 20,124 used by sis inside city commute and occasionally by our employees.
Pulsar 150 2004 model done around 80k kms stock engine, used basically by employees now,
Ford Fiesta Classic 2009 model engine run 1,11,248 kms Sold to Scrap as there was a lot of isssues with the car ECM head and few others which costed me more to maintain it. so scrapped it.
Maruti RitZ 2009 Model VDI run around 1,02,942 kms sealed engine been a work horse of My BIL long runs mostly happen on this as well as my sierra. so these are the long haulers of our family.

Yes. I was looking for used cars only (first personal car) as I had planned of ICE, etc. and warranty issues are there for almost all new cars. Found this sparingly used car (30k in 6 years) and bought it, has been serving well over the last 8k kms.

I am thinking about ownership reviews but not able to get enough time for a good write-up. I will try in the next semester break.
