@Nitin,
couple of doubts.
Does it display the incoming caller name? Or it says the number/name stored in it?
reads out the caller id/name as stored in your phone book.

The FM frequency? Does the sound quality get deteriorate at times? Or it is as good as stereo/aux with a cable connected?
no, quality is awesome.

Do you have an option to play it on external device thru aux port?
i doubt, i use it with bluetooth, who wants wires anyway. you can pair any music system which has fm and use its speakers.

So, how do you normally play music? From phone thru this speaker or USB/Disc from your car stereo? Or Phone to this and then to car stereo thru FM?
the stock system in my car works fine for normal usage. you have the extra option of streaming your mobiles media/fm on the jabra freeway device and/or also via the cars speakers.

I was looking for an ICE Setup which may not be existing/would not get developed
hmm

It should be paired with phone,GPS,Reverse sensor,System Audio.
It should play the audio from my stereo normally.

When i get a call, I should get it on car speakers without selecting Bluetooth, aux option.
Once the call gets disconnected, it should go back to car's stereo mode.

When a voice comes from GPS or Reverse sensor, it should play on Car's Speaker.
Later, it should go back to the playing music mode from HU.

No button pressing should be involved
once your mobile is connected to jabra, it also reads out the directions from sygic. if you have set a fm channel and are listening to music from your mobile on your cars speakers, and if you get a call, the music automatically stops and you can answer or reject the call handsfree with the voice commands like answer etc and the music starts once your call ends.

basically what you want is a bluetooth music system in your car, this jabra freeway basically pairs your phone and works accordingly. this device is a boon for people like me whose cars do not have bluetooth music systems as stock.
since its not that bulky , you can also carry it around and use it in your office/home etc etc.

No. I wanted to play music from my cd/usb stick , when i get a call on my phone which is paired to bluetooth - I should get the ringing tone on my speaker "without changing to fm mode/aux mode" . That is, making all the devices available at the same time than selecting it what to choose.

In your case, you need to be on FM channel to get the things working. If you are playing your audio cd & you wants to hear the incoming call, you need to change to FM mode (that stops the cd playing) . Confusing too much ? [confused]

I do not know any device detects the two - three things at a time without changing it to their respective mode (CD/Aux/Bluetooth) .

Read the reviews in flipkart on the same device. And mind you, this is more worth when you use it to the full potential. On car, bike,fm, sleeping etc etc. Think twice of this product as you do not use headphone/earplug while driving.
Appus, howz the quality of mic, I mean how close the mic needed to be clipped while answering a call. Do I need to clip the mic on my shirt to answer it? I need a total hands free support.

reads out the caller id/name as stored in your phone book.
Great, what about the numbers stored in Sim card instead of phone memory.

How can we pair my music system as there is no Bluetooth feature available even though it's a top model.[frustration]

Please explain how does it work via car's speakers, did you mean using aux cable to connect music player?

What if I am using two devices one Tab for Sygic and Mobile phone answering? Will it sync both and it will mute sygic once I get a call.

How does it work? Even my car does not have bluetooth so how music system will be integrated with Jabra Freeway.

music has to be on your mobile , thats where bluetooth connects and then you stream. hands free means no cable, aux/wires defeats the entire purpose of bluetooth/handfree.

when your are playing music with cd/usb stick, what has your mobile to do with it. its anyways redundant since your cars speakers are being used to listen to music.

what you are forgetting is that you can use the jabra's inbuilt 3 speakers to get/make calls/stream music without using the fm channel etc. this can be used anywhere - in office/home/outdoors etc.

the freeways voice/sound quality/throw is awesome and you have to reduce the volume since its damn loud.

It's okay with me to listen music from Music system and mute it as soon as I am getting a call or I need to make call. As operating music system is easy for me because of steering mounted control.

Answer this part :

That is pretty good. You can even keep near cigar lighter port. I still suggest a dedicated device if you do not use it to listen songs/ or while traveling in bike etc.

Great, what about the numbers stored in Sim card instead of phone memory.
It should read out if phone displays the name.

It is paired thru fm frequency. You will be putting your audio system in FM mode @ some number. Then you pair it with your Jabra device

Please explain how does it work via car's speakers, did you mean using aux cable to connect music player?
No. Thru fm frequency/FM mode

I do not think you can pair two device/actively without changing it.

Third time. It is on FM frequency/FM Mode

the freeway is clipped on the visor. will post a pic later.

does'nt matter, it pairs the entire phonebook.

you can set a fm channel using your cars music system.

Please explain how does it work via car's speakers, did you mean using aux cable to connect music player?
same as above, using fm channel.

What if I am using two devices one Tab for Sygic and Mobile phone answering? Will it sync both and it will mute sygic once I get a call.
as per the manual, jabra pairs with 2 devices. i have sygic in my mobile and also my tab. but i use only one at a time. since my mobile gets charged with the usb socket of my car, i dont need to worry about the battery part.

How does it work? Even my car does not have bluetooth so how music system will be integrated with Jabra Freeway.
already answered.

Am I so naive :(, but how Jabra Freeway will communicate with Music System in F Frequency/FM Mode. Is there any particular setting needs to be required.

This is what I got:

I cannot connect my Jabra in-car speakerphone and radio via FM transmitter.

Please try the following steps:

Make sure the radio is turned on and the in-car speakerphone is in FM mode (FM Status Icon is on).
If your radio is unabe to find the FM frequency set by your in-car speakerphone via the search function, the FM frequency must be tuned in manually on the radio. Please read the radio's user manual to find out how to manually change the frequency. If your radio is in TA (Traffic Announcement) mode, switch TA off and your radio should be able to find your in-car speakerphone when using the search function on the radio.
If not tune in manually. The sensitivity of the search function on your radio determines, if it is able to find the frequency set by your in-car speakerphone. On some radios you are able to adjust the sensitivity, thus making it possible to find the speakerphone frequency when searching. If not tune in manually. In urban areas, it might be difficult to find a clear frequency. It is therefore advisable to use a frequency in the lower or upper end of the FM frequency band (e.g. 88.1 or 107.7 MHz) where you will have the best chance of finding a clear frequency.

FM Transmitter
You can transmit your calls, music and GPS directions from your phone/device to your car stereo using the built-in FM transmitter.
Tap the FM button and set your radio to the announced frequency. If you experience interference from a radio station on your set frequency you can either tap the FM button to quickly redirect the audio back to the FREEWAY or press the VOL+ button to search for a new frequency.

If your radio supports RDS it will automatically adjust to the new frequency. If it doesn’t you have to manually set the radio to the new frequency.

also read this review MobileTechReview Forum, News and Reviews: Bluetooth Car Kit Review: Jabra Freeway In-Car Speakerphone Review

and yes, you can use 2 devices simultaneouly.

How are you listening BIG FM once you tune to 92.7 ? [glasses]
Same way, you need to keep the FM in one number. configure it with Jabra device. You will get Jabra audio @ one frequency of your FM channel. That is a simple setting you have to do once you get the device.

First time hearing some website like this. 24sevenindia.com? How was the shopping experience?

Share the experience on your purchase as well. Definitely going to help others who want to try some other website other than the common ones!

EDIT : found the link
